Abstract
液晶ディスプレイ、有機ELディスプレイ、プラズマディスプレイ等の画像表示装置の使用時に反射像の写り込みが気にならないようにする防眩フィルムの製造において、ウェブの搬送張力を、ウェブの左右両端部において互いに異なるように調整することにより、ウェブ搬送の左右ムラを小さく抑えることができて、フィルムのツレやシワの発生を防止し得て、平面性に優れ、表面のギラツキ、異物故障を低減した防眩フィルム、及びその製造方法を提供する。溶液流延製膜法による防眩フィルムの製造方法は、鋳型加工ロールのウェブ搬送方向の上流側または下流側においてウェブの搬送張力を、ウェブの左右両端部において互いに異なるように調整する。同側にウェブ搬送張力を左右独立に測定する手段を設け、測定手段によるウェブ左右両端部のウェブ搬送張力の測定値の差が、1~5%となるように、ウェブ搬送張力調整機構を微動調整する。
