Abstract

 本発明は、原料である、酸素およびアルゴンが微量含まれた窒素を、カスケードに構成された複数の充填塔で低温蒸留することにより、窒素の安定同位体15Nが濃縮された製品窒素を得る工程を有する窒素同位体濃縮方法において、最終塔の塔底からアルゴン・酸素混合物を排出し、最終塔の下方中間部から15N濃縮窒素流体を採取するとともに、製品15N濃縮窒素採取位置から下方に設置された温度計の指示値に基づいて、最終塔の塔底部から排出するアルゴン・酸素混合物の流量を制御することで、前記製品窒素を安定的に得る窒素同位体濃縮方法を提供する。
