Abstract

 本発明の燃料電池システムは、燃料電池(101)と、燃料電池(101)の発電に用いられる発電用ガスが通流するガス経路と、燃料電池(101)を冷却する冷却水が通流する冷却水経路と、冷却水経路に設けられた冷却水を貯える冷却水タンク(106)と、水分透過膜(61)を有し、冷却水経路を通流する冷却水とガス経路を通流する発電用ガスとの間で、水分透過膜(61)を介して水分交換するように構成された加湿器と、ガス経路内部の圧力が低下した場合にガス経路の加湿器を含む特定区間に補圧ガスを供給する補圧ガス供給器(110)と、を備え、冷却水タンク(106)の水面が加湿器の水分透過膜(61)の上端よりも上方に位置する。
