Abstract

 一般式    CnF2n+1(CHXCFY)s+p(CF2CF2)t+rI              〔I〕 (ここで、X、Yはそれぞれ水素原子またはフッ素原子であり、ただしYがフッ素原子のときXもフッ素原子であり、nは1~6の整数であり、s+pは1~5の整数であって、CHXCFY基の数であり、t+rは0または1~6の整数であって、テトラフルオロエチレン骨格の数である)で表わされる末端ヨウ素化ポリフルオロアルカンが提供される。かかる末端ヨウ素化ポリフルオロアルカンは、CnF2n+1Iに含フッ素オレフィンCHX=CFYおよびテトラフルオロエチレンを過酸化物開始剤の存在下で順次テロメリゼーションすることにより製造される。
