Abstract

 キャラクタオブジェクトの目の周辺部分がキャラクタオブジェクトの視線方向に合わせて変化する様子を表現することをデータ量やデータ作成のための作業量の軽減を図りつつ実現できるようになるゲーム装置を提供する。複数の基本視線方向の各々に対応する頂点位置特定データ(目の周辺部分の頂点の位置を特定するためのデータ)と、ブレンド制御データ(視線方向情報と、複数の頂点位置特定データのブレンド比率情報と、を対応づけたデータ)と、が記憶される。視線方向に対応するブレンド比率情報がブレンド制御データに基づいて取得される(S108)。そのブレンド比率情報に基づいて複数の頂点位置特定データがブレンドされることによって、視線方向に対応する頂点位置特定データが取得される(S109)。視線方向に対応する頂点位置特定データに基づいてゲーム画面が表示される(S113)。
