Abstract

　アルキル芳香族化合物を溶媒中で酸化して芳香族カルボン酸のスラリーを得、加圧状態のまま固液分離する芳香族カルボン酸の製造方法において、スラリー、母液、洗浄排液等の移送工程が意図に反して停止することを防ぐ方法を提供する。 　加圧状態の反応器内において、溶媒中でアルキル芳香族化合物を酸化して芳香族カルボン酸を生成させる工程、及び前記芳香族カルボン酸及び溶媒を含むスラリーを前記反応器から抜き出した後、固液分離装置にて加圧状態で固液分離を行い、芳香族カルボン酸ケーキ及び母液を得る工程、を少なくとも含む芳香族カルボン酸の製造方法であって、前記反応器から前記スラリーとともに抜き出されたガスの排出を前記反応器以外で行う芳香族カルボン酸の製造方法。
