Abstract

　特に氷雪上におけるタイヤ性能を向上させた構成が簡素な空気入りタイヤを提供する。 　空気入りタイヤ１０は２ベルト構造のタイヤであって、１ベルト幅１Ｗが２ベルト幅２Ｗよりも幅広で、２ベルト幅２Ｗがトレッド幅ＴＷの８０～９５％の範囲とされている。この構成により、交錯層として設けられている２ベルト１４Ｕのベルト幅を狭めたことになっている。従って、１ベルト１４Ｌが充分に幅広であっても、交錯層としてのベルトが存在しないベルト部分ではベルト張力が減少する。このため、接地端近傍でのタイヤ外表面の踏み込み角が小さくなる。これにより、タイヤが接地することによって微量に湧き出た水を接地面内に取り込みにくくなり、駆動性、制動性などのタイヤ諸性能を向上させることができる。
