Abstract

 撮影中に手ブレなどによって発生する画像のローリング方向のブレ(画像の回転)をセンサの個体ばらつきや温度特性、経年変化の影響を受けず、高精度に検出し補正できる撮像装置を提供する。撮影中に手ブレなどによって発生する画像のローリング方向のブレ(画像の回転)を補正する際に、角度センサ8aから検出される装置の傾き角の検出結果を、画像傾き検出処理部7によって撮影画像の特徴から検出される画像傾き角の検出結果によって校正し、校正された装置の傾き角に基づいて撮像素子3を光軸または光軸に平行な軸を中心に回転させる。
