- An advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that a third brush seal is provided in series with the first and the second brush seal. This brush seal serves to form a second chamber, in which coolant collects when the first or second brush seal is worn.
- An advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that a second return device of the coolant leakage is provided between the second brush seal and the third brush seal. At full function of the first and second brush seal, the second feedback device has no leakage. If small leaks form during the operating time by closing the second brush seal, in particular the operator is signaled when the brush seals must be replaced due to wear. A sudden failure by break does not occur here. In particular, in such a development of the spindle motor is optimally or very well protected by the double protection against break-in of the coolant.
- An advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that a sensor for indicating the seal wear is provided on the second return means of the coolant leakage.
