Abstract

 調湿装置(10)のケーシング(11)内では、対向する側板の一方に沿って第1バイパス通路(81)が、他方に沿って第2バイパス通路(82)がそれぞれ形成される。また、ケーシング(11)内では、2つのバイパス通路(81,82)の間に、第1熱交換器室(37)と第2熱交換器室(38)が左右に並んで形成される。第1熱交換器室(37)には第1吸着熱交換器(51)が収容され、第2熱交換器室(38)には第2吸着熱交換器(52)が収容される。吸着熱交換器(51,52)には吸着剤が担持される。空気を湿度調節しない運転中には、第1バイパス用ダンパ(83)及び第2バイパス用ダンパ(84)が開かれ、空気がバイパス通路(81,82)を通って給気ファン(26)又は排気ファン(25)へ吸い込まれる。このため、空気を湿度調節しない運転中における吸着熱交換器(51,52)への臭気物質の蓄積が抑制される。
