Abstract

 本発明の光子検出器の弁別パラメータ算出方法は、出力波形信号を蓄積したデータを対象にして、エネルギーレシオに対するカウント数の波形を近似する二種類のフィッティング関数を適用し、両フィッティング関数のフィッティングパラメータを算出し、両フィッティングパラメータに基づいて、両フィッティング関数のピークの1/nとなるカウント数を求めるとともに、そのカウント数に対応する両フィッティング関数のエネルギーレシオの値を弁別パラメータkとして算出する。このように第1の光子検出素子35及び第2の光子検出素子37がどのようなものであっても、フィッティング関数でフィッティングした後に、フィッティングパラメータに基づいて弁別パラメータkを自動的に算出するので、高精度で弁別パラメータを算出することができる。したがって、光子検出器17の性能を充分に引き出すことができる弁別パラメータkを比較的容易に求めることができる。
