Abstract

 本発明のメタセシス反応によるオレフィンの製造方法は、タングステン、モリブデン、レニウム、ニオブ、タンタルおよびバナジウムよりなる群から選ばれる少なくとも一種類の金属元素を含む触媒と、周期律表第Ia族(アルカリ金属)、第IIa族(アルカリ土類金属)、第IIb族および第IIIa族よりなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種の金属元素を含有する塩基性化合物を含む助触媒とを有する触媒層に、水素ガスの存在下に、オレフィンを導入して、該導入したオレフィンとは異なる構造のオレフィンを製造する方法において、上記触媒層を流れるガスの空塔速度を、0.01~2.0m/秒の範囲内に設定することを特徴としている。本発明によれば、水素ガスの共存によりメタセシス触媒活性を大幅に向上させたまま、副反応によるパラフィンの生成を抑制することができる。
