Abstract

　洗面ボウルに水などが貯められている状態で、洗面台の上に取り付けられた手乾燥装置を使用した場合であっても、水などが周囲に飛散することなく、使用者に不快感を与えることのない手乾燥装置を得ること。箱体２と、箱体２の内部に外部空気を吸い込む高圧空気流発生器と、高圧空気流発生器からの空気を高速空気として吹き出す、箱体２の上部に設けられるノズル７と、を備え、洗面台１３の洗面ボウル１２の側方に設置される手乾燥装置であって、ノズル７が設けられる側の箱体２の側面から洗面ボウル１２にかけて傾斜部を有する水受け部１１を備え、水受け部１１は、水受け部１１に付着した水滴を洗面ボウル１２に誘導するとともに、ノズル７からの高速空気が水受け部１１を介して洗面ボウル１２内の水を飛散させない水分飛散防止／水切り手段を有する。
