Abstract

 結着樹脂として架橋ポリエステル樹脂を用いた場合でも乳化性能が良好であり、また、保存性に優れるトナーを得ることができる樹脂乳化液、及びその製造方法を提供する。  (a)3価以上のアルコール成分由来の構成単位及び3価以上のカルボン酸成分由来の構成単位からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも一種を有するポリエステルを含有する樹脂、アニオン性界面活性剤、上記樹脂100重量部に対して、0.1~1.0重量部の非イオン性界面活性剤、及び10~50重量部の水性媒体を、前記樹脂のフローテスター法による軟化温度(T s)以上の温度で混合する工程、及び(b)前記工程(a)で得られた混合物を、水系媒体中で、前記樹脂のフローテスター法による軟化点(T 1/2)以下の温度で塩基性化合物により中和する工程、を有する樹脂乳化液の製造方法。
