Abstract

 外部からの水の浸入を防ぐシール性能に優れ、内部発熱や外部環境の温度変化による内部の熱歪み、および外力によってセンサ部品やその周辺回路部に損傷が生じず、しかも安価に製作できる回転検出センサを提供する。この回転検出センサAは、車輪用軸受に取付けるセンサ固定部材7に固定され、車輪用軸受の回転輪の回転を検出するものである。回転輪の被検出体を検出する磁気式のセンサ素子1と、このセンサ素子1の出力信号を外部に取り出すケーブル10と、センサ素子1およびケーブル10の一端部が取付けられ、かつセンサ素子1の電極部2とケーブル10の芯線4とを電気的に接続する導電部3を有する基板11とでセンサユニットBを構成する。このセンサユニットBを基板11でセンサ固定部材7に固定する。センサユニットBの周囲に、熱可塑性エラストマまたはゴム材を成型してなるモールディング部8を設ける。
