Abstract

 リバース式圧延機において、圧延機入側板厚検出手段により、入側板厚計で測定した板厚測定値を入側材速検出手段で検出したリバース式圧延機の入側での被圧延材の速度に基づいてリバース式圧延機の入側までトラッキングして、リバース式圧延機の入側での板厚を検出し、圧延機出側板厚演算手段により、圧延機入側板厚検出手段で検出したリバース式圧延機の入側での板厚と、圧下位置検出装置で検出した圧下位置とに基づいてリバース式圧延機の出側での板厚を演算する。さらに、目標荷重演算手段により、圧延機の入側での板厚と、圧延機の出側での板厚と、パス間補正量演算手段で演算した補正量と、荷重検出装置で検出した荷重に基づいて次パスの圧延開始時における目標荷重を演算し、目標荷重演算手段で演算した目標荷重を圧下制御装置に設定する。これにより、板材等の被圧延材の端部においても良好な板厚精度を確保できるリバース式圧延機の板厚制御装置を提供する。
