Abstract

 携帯端末装置が備えるいずれかの筐体を開状態とした時の装置本体の傾きに応じて、予め設定された所定の機能を起動する折り畳み型携帯電話装置、その機能起動方法及びプログラムを提供する。  第1の筐体と、第2の筐体とを備えた携帯端末装置であって、携帯端末装置本体の傾き毎に、所定の機能を対応付けて予め設定する機能設定手段と、第1の筐体又は第2の筐体のいずれかが動かされて、開状態又は閉状態となったことを検出する開閉状態検出手段と、開閉状態検出手段により開状態が検出された場合、携帯端末装置本体の傾きを検出する傾き検出手段と、傾き検出手段によって検出された傾きに基づいて、機能設定手段により予め設定された所定の機能を起動する機能起動手段と、を有する。
