Abstract

 試料上の二次元領域を細かく区分した各微小領域(ピクセル)に対して得られる質量スペクトルデータを解析処理しタンパク質を同定するに際し、まず各ピクセルの質量スペクトルに現れるピークを含むように質量ウインドウを設定し(S10)、各質量ウインドウ内に入るピークのイオン強度の積算値を計算する(S11)。そして、質量ウインドウ毎に各ピクセルの強度積算値を集めてマッピング画像を作成し(S12)、マッピング画像の類似性を判断して質量ウインドウをグループ分けする(S13、S14)。同一グループに入る質量ウインドウ内のピークは同一種類の物質に由来するとみなし、それらピークを集めて質量スペクトルを作成し(S15)、該スペクトルに基づいてPMF法などによりタンパク質を同定する(S16、S17)。これにより、複数種類のタンパク質が混在している場合でも、同定精度を高めることができる。
