Abstract
近紫外光で励起した場合に安定して高い発光強度及び輝度が得られるとともに、温度特性にも優れた蛍光体を提供するため、蛍光体を、Eu(ユウロピウム)が置換し得るサイト数に対するEuの置換率が15%以上であり、アルカリ金属元素を含有し、且つ、Euが置換し得るサイト数に対するアルカリ金属元素の含有率が3%以下である結晶相を有するように形成する。
