Abstract
円柱状又は円筒状の被探傷材に存在する何れの方向に延びる欠陥をも同じプローブコイルを用いて精度良く検出することが可能な渦流探傷装置等を提供する。 本発明に係る渦流探傷装置100は、回転板1と、回転板1に設置されたプローブコイル2とを備える。プローブコイルは、被探傷材に誘起された渦電流を検出した検出信号の回転走査方向についての差動出力が得られるプローブコイルとされ、回転板は、該回転板の回転中心RCが被探傷材の軸心PCに正対する位置に配置され、回転板の回転中心とプローブコイルの中心との距離Rは、被探傷材に設けた軸方向に延びる人工きずでの差動出力の最大振幅と被探傷材に設けた周方向に延びる人工きずでの差動出力の最大振幅との差が予め定めた許容範囲内となるように設定されている。
