Abstract

 本発明では、セル壁で区画されたセルを有する複数のハニカムユニットを接着層で接合してセラミックブロックを形成するステップ、またはセル壁で区画されたセルを有する一つのハニカムユニットでセラミックブロックを形成するステップと、前記セラミックブロックの外周部にコート層を設置するステップと、を有するハニカム構造体の製造方法であって、さらに、前記ハニカムユニットの接合面に、直径が1~50μmの範囲の発泡材料の粒子を含む接着層用のペーストを設置するステップ、および/または前記セラミックブロックの外周部に、直径が1~50μmの範囲の発泡材料の粒子を含むコート層用のペーストを設置するステップと、前記発泡材料を発泡させるステップと、前記発泡材料を消失させ、直径100~300μmの範囲の気泡痕を形成するステップと、を有することを特徴とするハニカム構造体の製造方法が提供される。
