Abstract

　電動アシスト自転車に使用される補助動力機構の簡素化を図ると共に、自転車車体フレームへの取り付けを容易にする。 電動力により踏力を補助して走行可能な電動アシスト自転車は、踏力を駆動輪に伝達するため回転可能なスプロケット（２）と、電動力を出力軸（３７ａ）から出力する電動モーター（３７）と、出力軸にギア機構（４０）を介して連結されたアシストギア（３０）と、アシストギアをスプロケットに同軸に連結するピン（１２３）と、を備える。これらの構成要素は、共通ベース（５０）上に配列され、車体フレームに着脱自在の１つのユニット（１１）を構成する。ピンのヘッド部には弾性部材（１２９）が覆われている。弾性部材は、ピンとの係合領域に設けられている。かくして、アシストギアに提供された電動力は、ピン及び弾性部材を介してスプロケットに伝達され る。
