Abstract

 本発明は、電子ペーパー等の表示部に用いられ、複数層で構成された積層型表示素子及びその製造方法に関し、画素領域を狭めず、電極形成の歩留まりが高く、高温プロセスを必要としない層間接続が可能な積層型表示素子及びその製造方法と、外部接続基板の使用数を削減することが可能な積層型表示素子及びその製造方法とを提供することを目的とする。  積層型液晶表示素子1は、データ信号が出力されるデータ信号出力端子群7と、走査信号が出力される走査信号出力端子群8と、データ電極23g、23bとデータ信号出力端子群7とをそれぞれ接続するデータ電極接続線材群15と、走査電極21r、21gと走査信号出力端子群8とをそれぞれ接続する走査電極接続線材群18とを有している。
