Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à : un agent adhésif photodurcissable qui possède une excellente stabilité au stockage, qui peut empêcher la décoloration de l'agent ou d'un matériau devant être fixé pendant le durcissement, qui présente une vitesse de durcissement élevée et qui peut donner une bonne adhérence ; une plaque de polarisation utilisant ledit agent adhésif photodurcissable ; un procédé de production de ladite plaque de polarisation ; un élément optique ; et un dispositif d'affichage à cristaux liquides. La description de l'invention concerne en particulier un agent adhésif photodurcissable destiné à fixer un film protecteur sur un polariseur et comprenant un film en résine de polyalcool de vinyle contenant de l'iode ou ayant absorbé un colorant dichroïque orienté sur lui. Ledit agent adhésif photodurcissable comprend : 100 parts en poids de résine époxy (A) dont la molécule inclut un minimum de deux groupes époxydiques, au moins un de ces groupes étant un groupe époxydique alicyclique ; 5 à 1 000 parts en poids de résine époxy (B) dont la molécule inclut un minimum de deux groupes époxydiques et qui ne contient pratiquement pas de groupe époxydique alicyclique ; et 0,5 à 20 parts en poids d'initiateur de polymérisation photo-cationique (C).
