Abstract

  中空鋳物鋳造において使用されるケレンは溶湯と溶融接着して鋳物の一部となることが常識であったが、ケレンと鋳物本体との間の密着が必ずしも十分ではなく、薄肉中空鋳物の強度低下を招いていた。本発明の中子は、切欠部5を備えた円弧部2と円弧部の外周に鋳型7内壁に接する複数の突起部4を備えたケレンが装着されており、中子本体の外径部にケレンの円弧部全体を収容できる溝部6を形成し、溝部6にケレン1を装着したときに中子本体からケレン突起部4のみが突出する。
