—方、 このような車内ネットワークに接続された ECUにより構築される車両 の制御システムにおいては、 車両の基本動作である 「走る」 動作に対応する駆動 系 ECU、 「止まる」 動作に対応する制動系 ECU、 「曲がる」 動作に対応する 操舵系 ECUを、 それぞれが独立して作動可能なように設けられる。 これらの基 本制御ユニットに加えて、 並列的に動作可能な、 車両の環境に対応する運転操作、 運転者の運転支援および車两の動的運動制御を自動的に行なえるように処理ュニ ットが設けられる。 このような処理ユニットと基本制御ユニットとは、 下位一上 位の関係を有して構築されたり、 上下階層を形成しないで構築されたりしている。 このような車両の制御システムにおいて、 多数の E C Uの中の E C Uにおいて 発生する異常を的確に検出しないと、 種々の不具合を引き起こす可能性がある。 そのため、 車両の各部位の故障を検出するための故障検出プログラムを搭載して 信頼性の向上が図られている。 すなわち、 コンピュータ部やセンサ類や車両用通 信システム (車載ネットワーク) の動作状態を適当な周期で自動的にチェックし、 故障時には、 ダイァグコード等を記憶するものである。 こうした車両用通信シス テムにおいては、 通信線の断線、 ゲートウェイ装置の故障等により、 データの伝 送経路の一部が遮断されると、 その遮断部分を通過する全てのデータが一度に途 絶することになり、 各ネットワークに接続された一部の E C Uは、 必要なデータ を受信できなくなってその E C Uが制御する機器が正常に機能しなくなる、 とい う問題があった。
特開 2 0 0 4— 6 4 6 2 6号公報は、 通信線の断線、 ゲートウェイ装置の故障 もしくは処理負荷の増加等によって、 正常なデータ通信を行なうことができなく なった場合に、 データ通信を速やかに正常状態に復旧させることができ、 しかも、 その対策のために通信線を多重化したりゲートウヱイ装置の処理能力を高める必 要のない車両用通信システムを開示する。 この通信システムは、 車両に搭載され、 通信線を介してデータ通信可能な各種電気的装置を、 複数にグループ分けし、 各 グループ毎に、 電気的装置をデータ通信用の通信線を介して互いに接続するとと もに、 各グループの通信線間には、 この通信線間でデータを中継可能な特定電気 的装置を接続することにより、 各通信線に接続された全ての電気的装置が通信線 を介して互いにデータを送受信するよう構成された車両用通信システムである。 特定電気的装置を、 各通信線間に複数分散配置し、 この各特定電気的装置が、 予 め設定された中継用のデータリストに基づき、 所定の通信線間で所定のデータを 中継するよう構成するとともに、 複数の特定電気的装置の内、 全ての通信線に接 続される特定電気的装置の一つである第 1特定電気的装置に、 各電気的装置から 送信された送信データが他の電気的装置で受信される迄の伝送経路を記述したル 一トテーブルが予め記憶された第 1記憶部と、 各通信線に流れるデータを監視す ることにより、 ルートテーブルに記述された伝送経路の異常及び異常箇所を検出 する第 1異常検出部と、 この第 1異常検出部にて伝送経路の異常及び異常箇所が 検出されると、 ルートテーブルに基づき、 異常箇所を通過するデータを特定する とともに、 特定したデータを異常箇所を通過させることなく伝送可能な迂回経路 を設定し、 データが迂回経路を通って伝送されるよう、 ルートテーブルを更新す る迂回経路設定部と、 この迂回経路設定部にて更新されたルートテーブルに従い、 第 1特定電気的装置を含む各特定電気的装置に設定されたデータリストを更新す るデータリスト更新部とを設けたことを特徴とする。
この車両用通信システムによると、 車両に構築された複数のネットワークの通 信線に接続された各電気的装置が、 その電気的装置が属するネットワーク内の他 の電気的装置との間でデータ通信を行うことができるだけでなく、 ゲートウエイ 装置として機能する特定電気的装置を介して、 他のネットワークの電気的装置と の間でもデータ通信を行なうことができるようにされている。 そして、 複数の通 信線の何れかが断線するか、 或いは、 特定電気的装置が故障することにより、 こ のシステムで構成される伝送経路の一部が遮断されると、 その部分を通過できな くなったデータが第 1特定電気的装置側で特定されて、 そのデータを必要とする 電気的装置まで伝送するための迂回経路が設定される。 また、 このように迂回経 路が設定されると、 その迂回経路がデータの伝送経路となるようにルートテープ ルが更新され、 更に、 そのルートテーブルに従い、 ゲートウェイ機能を有する各' 特定電気的装置のデータリストが更新される。 したがって、 本発明の車両用通信 システムによれば、 通信線の断線、 特定電気的装置の故障等によって、 データの 伝送経路の一部が遮断されても、 その遮断された伝送経路を迂回する新たな伝送 経路が形成されて、 このシステムを構成する各電気的装置が送信したデータは、 そのデータを必要とする他の電気的装置まで確実に伝送されることになる。
ところで、 近年、 車両走行の推進力として、 燃焼エネルギーで作動するェンジ ンの他に電気エネルギーで作動するモータを備えたハイプリッド車両が知られて いる。 このハイブリッド車両の種類としては、 大きく、 (1 ) 車輪の駆動をモー タで行ないエンジンはモータへの電力供給源として作動するシリーズ (直列) ハ イブリツドシステムと、 (2 ) エンジンとモータとの双方で車輪を駆動するパラ レル (並列) ハイブリッドシステムとがある。 さらに、 これらの両方の機能を併 せ持つパラレルシリーズハイブリッドシステムと呼ばれるものもある。
シリーズハイブリッドシステム以外においては、 モータをエンジンの出力を捕 助する補助駆動源として使用される。 このようなハイブリッド車は、 たとえば、 加速時においてはモータによってエンジンの出力を補助し、 減速時においては減 速回生によって走行用バッテリ等への充電を行なう等、 様々な制御を行ない、 走 行用バッテリの残容量を確保しつつ運転者の要求を満足できるようになっている。 このようなハイブリッド車両は、 モータの駆動あるいは回生を行なうために、 パ ワードライブユニット (P C U (Power Control Unit) とも呼ばれる) を備える。 このパワードライブユニッ トは、 複数のスイッチング素子を備え、 このスィッチ ング素子を用いた電流制御によりモータを駆動あるいは回生する。 また、 ハイブ リッド車両は、 これらスィツチング素子にスィツチングを行なわせる制御信号を 出力するモータ制御装置を備えている。
上述したハイプリッド車両には、 モータに供給する電力を蓄える走行用バッテ リが搭載され、 モータはインバータに接続され、 インバータは走行用バッテリに 接続されている。 インバータと走行用バッテリとの間には、 インバータと走行用 バッテリとの電気的接続を断接する S MR (System Main Relay) が設けられて いる。 この S MRは、 ハイブリッドシステムを制御する E C Uであって、 高圧の 走行用バッテリを制御する E C U (以下、 ハイブリッド E C Uや HV_E C Uと 記載する場合がある) により開閉制御が行なわれる。
さらに、 車両は、 運転者の操作負担 ·操作力を軽減するため、 補助力を付与す る各種のシステムが搭載されるようになっている。 中でも、 運転者の操舵力に対 して電動モータ等を利用して補助操舵力を付与する電動パワーステアリング装置 は広く使用されている。 電気自動車やハイブリッド車においては、 このうち、 走 行用バッテリから電力が供給される電動モータを利用した電動パワーステアリン グ装置 (以下、 E P S (Electric Power Steering) と記載する場合がある) が 用いられる。 そして、 この E P Sにおける電動モータは、 各種の補機の中でもそ の電力消費量が大きいために、 S MRを介して走行用バッテリから電力が供給さ れる。 さらに、 詳しくは、 走行用バッテリの定格電圧に比べて E P Sの電動モー タの定格電圧が低いので S M Rと E P Sの電動モータとの間に降圧用の D C / D Cコンバータが設けられる。 この EP Sは、 ハイブリッド ECUと通信線で接続 された E P S— ECUにより制御される。 なお、 このように走行用バッテリの電 力を用いて作動する車載機器の他の例として、 エアコンディショナーの電動コン プレッサ(以下、 電動エアコンディショナと記載する場合がある) がある。
このような EPSは、 SMRがオフされる (電気的に接続されなくなる) と、 EP S一 ECUが制御信号を出力しても作動しなくなる。 すなわち、 HV— EC Uと E P S— ECUとの間における通信が遮断されてしまうと、 EP Sが作動必 要であるにも関わらず (すなわち、 EP Sが作動しているにも関わらず) 、 HV — E C Uが S MRをオフに切り換える可能性がある。
しかしながら、 特開 2004— 64626号公報においては、 重要データの伝 送経路の異常 (断線等) を判定して、 経路異常時には、 重要データを中継する E CUを切り換え、 重要データの伝送経路を変更することが開示されているに過ぎ ない。 このため、 車両の走行中において、 操舵系の EP Sが作動しなくなる可能 性を、 特開 2004— 64626号公報の通信システムでは完全に排除できない 可能性がある。 発明の開示
本発明は、 上述の課題を解決するためになされたものであって、 その目的は、 電源系を制御する制御装置とその電源系から電力が供給される車両運動系の制御 装置との間で通信が異常になっても、 車両運動系の正常な退避動作を実現するこ とができる、 車両の電源システムを提供することである。
この発明に係る車両の電源システムは、 第 1の制御装置と第 2の制御装置と第 1の制御装置および第 2の制御装置を接続する信号線とを含む車両の電源システ ムである。 第 1の制御装置は、 車両の搭乗者の操作に基づいて、 車両に搭載され た蓄電機構と電気負荷との間の電気的な接続および遮断を制御し、 信号線の異常 を検出し、 車両の搭乗者による電気的な接続の遮断要求操作を検出し、 蓄電機構 と電気負荷との間が電気的に接続されているときであって信号線の異常を検出し たときに、 遮断要求操作を検出しても、 第 2の制御装置についての予め定められ た条件が成立するまで、 電気的な接続を遮断しないように制御する。 第 2の制御 装置は、 蓄電機構から供給された電力により作動する電気負荷を制御し、 信号線 の異常を検出し、 車両の搭乗者による電気的な接続の遮断要求操作を検出する。 この発明によると、 車両に搭載された蓄電機構 (たとえば走行用パッテリ) と 電気負荷 (インバータ、 D C /D Cコンバータ、 電動エアコンディショナ、 E P S等) との間の電気的な接続および遮断が、 システムメインリレー (S MR) を 開閉制御することにより行なわれる。 第 1の制御装置は、 この S MRを、 車両の 搭乗者の操作に基づいて開閉制御する。 第 2の制御装置は、 これらの電気負荷を 制御する。 第 1の制御装置 (たとえば、 S MRを制御するハイブリッド E C U) と第 2の制御装置 (たとえば、 E P Sを制御する E P S— E C U) とを接続して いる信号線が異常になると、 第 2の制御装置が電気負荷を使用している状態であ るか否かが第 1の制御装置では認識できなくなる。 このような場合に、 運転者に よる遮断要求操作が検出されても、 第 1の制御装置は、 第 2の制御装置について の条件 (たとえば、 第 2の制御装置が制御する電気負荷である E P Sの退避処理 が完了したという条件) が成立するまでは、 電気的な接続を遮断しないように制 御する。 このため、 第 2の制御装置は、 電気負荷への電力が供給されるので、 正 常に退避処理を行なうことができる。 その結果、 電源系を制御する第 1の制御装 置とその電源系から電力が供給される車両運動系の第 2の制御装置との間で通信 が異常になっても、 車両運動系の正常な退避動作を実現することができる、 車両 の電源システムを提供することができる。
好ましくは、 車両の電源システムにおける第 2の制御装置は、 電気負荷が作動 しているときであって信号線の異常を検出したときに、 遮断要求操作を検出する と、 退避処理を実行するように電気負荷を制御する。 第 1の制御装置は、 第 2の 制御装置の退避処理が完了するまで、 電気的な接続を遮断しない。
この発明によると、 信号線が異常になると、 第 2の制御装置が電気負荷を使用 している状態であるか否かが第 1の制御装置では認識できなくなる。 このような 場合に、 運転者による遮断要求操作が検出されると、 第 2の制御装置により、'退 避処理を実行するように電気負荷が制御される。 一方、 第 1の制御装置は、 この 第 2の制御装置が制御する電気負荷 (この電気負荷は、 第 1の制御装置が開閉制 御する S MRを介して電気的に蓄電機構と接続されている) が退避処理が完了し たという条件が成立するまでは、 電気的な接続を遮断しないように制御する。 こ のため、 第 2の制御装置は、 電気負荷への電力が供給されるので、 正常に退避処 理を行なうことができる。
さらに好ましくは、 車両の電源システムにおける第 1の制御装置は、 第 2の制 御装置の退避処理が完了するまでの時間が経過するという条件が成立するまで、 電気的な接続を遮断しない。
この発明によると、 信号線が異常な場合に、. 運転者による遮断要求操作が検出 されると、 第 2の制御装置により、 電気負荷の退避処理が実行される時間の間は、 第 1の制御装置が、 第 2の制御装置が制御する電気負荷への蓄電機構からの電力 供給を遮断しない。 このため、 第 2の制御装置は、 電気負荷への電力が供給され るので、 正常に退避処理を行なうことができる。
さらに好ましくは、 車両の電源システムにおける第 1の制御装置は、 第 2の制 御装置の種類に応じて定められた退避処理のための時間が経過するという条件が 成立するまで、 電気的な接続を遮断しない。
この発明によると、 蓄電機構を電力の供給源とする、 第 2の制御装置が制御す る電気負荷としては、 インバータ、 D C/D Cコンバータ、 電動エアコンデイシ ョナ、 E P S等があり、 これらの電気負荷の種類により退避処理に必要な時間が 異なる。 このため、 第 2の制御装置の種類に応じて定められた退避処理のための 時間が経過するという条件が成立するまで、 電気的な接続を遮断しないようにす る。 このため、 様々な電気負荷が蓄電機構から電力が供給されている場合であつ ても、 電気負荷の退避処理を完全に行なうことができる。
さらに好ましくは、 車両の電源システムにおいては、 遮断要求操作は、 イダ二 ッションスィツチのオフ指令操作である。
この発明によると、 車両の搭乗者 (主として運転者) により、 イダニッシヨン スィッチがオフにされると、 第 1の制御装置と第 2の制御装置との間の信号線が 異常であっても、 電気負荷を退避処理させた後に、 電源システムをオフにするこ とができる。
さらに好ましくは、 車両の電源システムにおいては、 蓄電機構は、 車両走行用 の蓄電機構であって、 電気負荷は、 車両運動系の電気負荷である。 この発明によると、 車両運動系のインバータ、 D C/D Cコンバータ、 E P S 等を退避処理させるので、 車両を安全に退避させることができる。
さらに好ましくは、 車両の電源システムにおいては、 車両運動系の電気負荷は、 電動パワーステアリングである。
この発明によると、 車両運動系の E P Sを退避処理できるので、 運転者が E P Sを用いて操舵して、 車両を安全に退避させることができる。 図面の簡単な説明

以下、 図面を参照しつつ、 本発明の実施例について説明する。 以下の説明では、 同一の部品には同一の符号を付してある。 それらの名称および機能も同じである。 したがってそれらについての詳細な説明は繰返さない。 以下においては、 電気負 荷として E P Sを備えたハイプリッド車両について説明するが、 一般的な内燃機 関を有しない電気自動車 (E V) に本発明が好適に適用されることを積極的に排 除するものではない。 また、 他の電気負荷の例として、 モータジェネレータ、 ィ ンバータ、 D C /D Cコンバータ、 電動エアコンディショナ等がある。
図 1を参照して、 本発明の実施例に係る制御システムを含む、 ハイプリッド車 両全体の制御プロック図を説明する。 なお、 本発明は図 1に示すハイブリッド車 両に限定されない。 本発明は、 動力源としての、 たとえばガソリンエンジン等の 内燃機関 (以下、 エンジンとして説明する) 力 車両を走行させる駆動源であつ て、 かつ、 ジェネレータの駆動源であればよい。 さらに、 駆動源がエンジンおよ びモータジェネレータであって、 モータジェネレータの動力により走行可能な車 両であればよく (エンジンを停止させても停止させなくても) 、 走行用のバッテ リを搭載した他の態様を有するハイプリッド車両であってもよい (いわゆるシリ 一ズ型ゃパラレル型等のハイブリッド車両に限定されない) 。 このバッテリは、 ニッケル水素電池やリチウムイオン電池などであって、 その種類は特に限定され るものではない。 また、 バッテリの代わりにキャパシタでも構わない。
ハイブリッド車両は、 エンジン 120と、 モータジェネレータ (MG) 140 とを含む。 なお、 以下においては、 説明の便宜上、 モータジェネレータ 140を、 モータジェネレータ 14 OA (または MG (2) 140 A) と、 モータジエネレ ータ 140B (または MG (1) 140 B) と表現するが、 ハイブリッド車両の 走行状態に応じて、 モータジェネレータ 14 OAがジェネレータとして機能した り、 モータジェネレータ 140 Bがモータとして機能したりする。 このモータジ エネレータがジェネレータとして機能する場合に回生制動が行なわれる。 モータ ジェネレータがジェネレータとして機能するときには、 車両の運動エネルギーが 電気エネルギーに変換されて、 車両が減速される。
ハイプリッド車両は、 この他に、 エンジン 120やモータジェネレータ 140 で発生した動力を駆動輪 160に伝達したり、 駆動輪 1 60の駆動をエンジン 1 20やモータジェネレータ 140に伝達したりする減速機 1 80と、 エンジン 1 20の発生する動力を駆動輪 160とモータジェネレータ 140 B (MG (1) 140 B) との 2経路に分配する動力分割機構 (たとえば、 後述する遊星歯車機 構) 200と、 モータジェネレータ 140を駆動するための電力を充電する走行 用バッテリ 220と、 走行用バッテリ 220の直流とモータジェネレータ 140 A (MG (2) 14 OA) およびモータジェネレータ 140 B (MG (1) 14 O B) の交流とを変換しながら電流制御を行なうインパータ 240と、 走行用バ ッテリ 220の充放電状態 (たとえば、 S〇C (State Of Charge) ) を管理制 御するバッテリ制御ユニット (以下、 バッテリ ECU) という) 260と、 ェン ジン 1 2◦の動作状態を制御するエンジン E CU 280と、 ハイプリッド車両の 状態に応じてモータジェネレータ 140およぴバッテリ ECU260、 ィンバー タ 240等を制御する MG— ECU 300と、 ノ ッテリ ECU 260、 エンジン ECU 280および MG—ECU300等を相互に管理制御して、 ハイブリッド 車両が最も効率よく運行できるようにハイプリッドシステム全体を制御する HV — ECU 320等を含む。
本実施例において、 走行用バッテリ 220とインバータ 240との間には昇圧 コンバータ 242が設けられている。 これは、 走行用バッテリ 220の定格電圧 (たとえば、 288 V) 力 モータ 14 OA (MG (2) 140 A) やモータジ エネレータ 14 OB (MG (1) 140 B) の定格電圧 (たとえば 650 V) よ りも低いので、 走行用バッテリ 220からモータジェネレータ 140 A (MG (2) 14 OA) やモータジェネレータ 140 B (MG (1) 14 OB) に電力 を供給するときには、 昇圧コンバータ 242で電力を昇圧する。
さらに、 このハイブリッド車両には、 EP Sが装備されている。 図 1に示すよ うに走行用バッテリ 220から降圧コンバータ 400により降圧された電力 (た とえば、 46V) 力 電 ¾モータである EP Sァクチユエータ 410に供給され る。 EP Sァクチユエータ 410は、 HV— ECU 320と通信線で接続された EP S— ECU420により制御される。
なお、 図 1においては、 各 ECUを別構成としているが、 2個以上の ECUを 統合した ECUとして構成してもよい (たとえば、 図 1に、 点線で示すように、 MG— ECU 300と HV—ECU 320とを統合した E CUとすることがその 一例である) 。
動力分割機構 200は、 エンジン 120の動力を、 駆動輪 160とモータジェ ネレータ 140B (MG (1) 140 B) との両方に振り分けるために、 遊星歯 車機構 (プラネタリーギヤ) が使用される。 モータジェネレータ 140 B (MG ( 1 ) 140 B) の回転数を制御することにより、 動力分割機構 200は無段変 速機としても機能する。 エンジン 120の回転力はキャリア (C) に入力され、 それがサンギヤ (S) によってモータジェネレータ 140 B (MG (1) 140 B) に、 リングギヤ (R) によってモータジェネレータ 14 OA (MG (2) 1 4 OA) および出力軸 (駆動輪 1 60側) に伝えられる。 回転中のエンジン 1 2 0を停止させる時には、 エンジン 120が回転しているので、 この回転の運動ェ ネルギーをモータジェネレータ 140 B (MG (1) 140 B) で電気工ネルギ 一に変換して、 エンジン 1 20の回転数を低下させる。
図 1に示すようなハイブリッドシステムを搭載するハイブリッド車両において は、 車両の状態について予め定められた条件が成立すると、 HV— ECU320 は、 モータジェネレータ 140のモータジェネレータ 14 OA (MG (2) 14 0 A) のみによりハイブリッド車両の走行を行なうようにモータジエネレータ 1 40 A (MG (2) 140 A) およびエンジン ECU 280を介してエンジン 1 20を制御する。 たとえば、 予め定められた条件とは、 走行用バッテリ 220の SOCが予め定められた値以上であるという条件等である。 このようにすると、 発進時や低速走行時等であってエンジン 120の効率が悪い場合に、 モータジェ ネレータ 14 OA (MG (2) 14 OA) のみによりハイブリッド車両の走行を 行なうことができる。 この結果、 走行用バッテリ 220の SOCを低下させるこ とができる (その後の車両停止時に走行用バッテリ 220を充電することができ る) 。
また、 通常走行時には、 たとえば動力分割機構 200によりエンジン 120の 動力を 2経路に分け、 一方で駆動輪 160の直接駆動を行ない、 他方でモータジ エネレータ 14 OB (MG (1) 140 B) を駆動して発電を行なう。 この時、 発生する電力でモータジェネレータ 14 OA (MG (2) 14 OA) を駆動して 駆動輪 160の駆動補助を行なう。 また、 高速走行時には、 さらに走行用バッテ リ 220からの電力をモータジェネレータ 14 OA (MG (2) 140 A) に供 給してモータジェネレータ 14 OA (MG (2) 14 OA) の出力を増大させて 駆動輪 160に対して駆動力の追加を行なう。 一方、 減速時には、 駆動輪 160 により従動するモータジェネレータ 14 OA (MG (2) 14 OA) がジヱネレ —タとして機能して回生発電を行ない、 回収した電力を走行用バッテリ 220に 蓄える。 なお、 走行用バッテリ 220の充電量が低下し、 充電が特に必要な場合 には、 エンジン 1 20の出力を増加してモータジェネレータ 1 40 B (MG (1) 140 B) による発電量を増やして走行用バッテリ 220に対する充電量 を増加する。
また、 走行用バッテリ 220の目標 SO Cはいつ回生が行なわれてもエネルギ 一が回収できるように、 通常は 60%程度に設定される。 また、 SOCの上限値 と下限値とは、 走行用バッテリ 220のバッテリの劣化を抑制するために、 たと えば、 上限値を 80%とし、 下限値を 30%として設定され、 HV— ECU32 0は、 MG— ECU300を介して SO Cが上限値および下限値を越えないよう にモータジェネレータ 140による発電や回生、 モータ出力を制御している。 な お、 ここで挙げた値は、 一例であって特に限定される値ではない。
図 2を参照して、 動力分割機構 200についてさらに説明する。 動力分割機構 200は、 サンギヤ (S) 202と (以下、 単にサンギヤ 202と記载する) 、 ピニオンギヤ 204と、 キャリア (C) 206 (以下、 単にキャリア 206と記 載する) と、 リングギヤ (R) 208 (以下、 単にリングギヤ 208と記載す る) とを含む遊星歯車から構成される。
ピニオンギヤ 204は、 サンギヤ 202およびリングギヤ 208と係合する。 キャリア 206は、 ピニオンギヤ 204が自転可能であるように支持する。 サン ギヤ 202は MG (1) 140 Bの回転軸に連結される。 キャリア 206はェン ジン 1 20のクランクシャフトに連結される。 リングギヤ 208は MG (2) 1 4 OAの回転軸および減速機 1 80に連結される。
エンジン 120、 MG (1) 1408ぉょび^10 (2) 140 Aが、 遊星歯車 からなる動力分割機構 200を介して連結されることで、 エンジン 1 20、 MG (1) 140Bおよび MG (2) 14 OAの回転数は、 共線図において直線で結 ばれる関係になる。
図 3を参照して、 本実施例に係る制御システムである、 HV— ECU 320お よび EP S— ECU420を含む、 制御ブロック図について説明する。 なお、 図 3に示す構成要素の中で、 前述の図 1において説明した構成要素についての詳細 な説明はここでは繰り返さない。 - 図 3に示すように、 HV— ECU320は、 走行用パッテリ 220と負荷 (こ こでは、 走行用のインバータ 240および E P Sァクチユエータ 410) とを電 気的に接続したり (SMR 500がオン) 、 遮断したり (SMR 500がオフ) する SMR 500を制御する。 走行用バッテリ 220の電力は、 SMR 500が 通電状態であるときに、 昇圧コンバータ 242を介してインバータ 240に供給 されるとともに、 降圧コンバータ 400を介して E P Sァクチユエータ 410に 供給される。 なお、 この EP Sァクチユエータ 410以外に、 走行用パッテリ 2 20の電力が降圧コンバータ 400で降圧されて供給される負荷が存在しても構 わない。 たとえば、 一例を挙げれば、 エアコンディショナーの電動コンプレッサ である。
EP Sァクチユエータ 410は、 EP S— ECU420により制御される電動 モータであって、 運転者のステアリング操作を補助する。
図 3に示すように、 HV— ECU 30と EP S— ECU420とは通信線で接 続されている。 なお、 この通信線は、 車載用ネットワーク通信線であっても、 そ の他の通信線であっても構わない。
HV— ECU320には、 I G (ィグニッシヨン) オン Zオフ信号おょぴ ST
(システムスタート) オン/オフ信号がそれぞれ入力される。 EP S— ECU 4 20には、 HV一 ECU320を経由することなく、 I G (イダニッシヨン) ォ ン オフ信号が入力される。
イダニッシヨンスィッチには、 〇FF (オフ) 位置と、 ACC位置、 ON (ォ ン) 位置位置とがあり、 HV— ECU 320は、 電源遮断時、 すなわちイダニッ ションスィツチのポジションが OF F位置にあるときには、 全ての SMR 500 をオフする。 すなわち、 SMR 500のコイルに対する励磁電流をオフする。 た とえば、 イダニッシヨンスィッチのポジションは、 OF F位置→ACC位置→〇 N位置の順に切り換えられる。 なお、 このような形態のイダニッシヨンスィッチ に関連する I G信号に限定されるものではない。
ST信号 (オン/オフ) は、 この車両におけるハイブリッドシステムが作動で きる状態であるときに (S MR 5.00を負荷と電気的に接続するときに) 、 オン になる信号であって、 たとえば、 I Gオンの状態で運転者が押しボタン式の PO WE Rスィッチを押すことにより、 HV— ECU320により S MR 500が電 気的に接続状態にされて、 走行用バッテリ 220と負荷とが電気的に ¾続された 状態になる。 なお、 このような押しボタン式の POWERスィッチに関連する S T信号に限定されるものではない。
電源接続時、 すなわち STオフから STオンに切り換えられると、 HV— EC U320は、 先ず、 正極のメイン SMRをオンし、 次に制限抵抗が直列に接続さ れた負極のプリチャージ SMRをオンしてプリチャージを実行する。 このように プリチャージ処理を実行することにより、 インバータ 240の電圧値は緩やかに 上昇し、 突入電流の発生を防止することができる。 さらに、 プリチャージ処理の 完了後においては、 正極のメイン SMRをオンの状態のままで、 制限抵抗が接続 されていない負極のメイン SMRをオンしてシステムの起動が完了する。 なお、 正極と負極とが逆でもよレ、。
なお、 上述したようなイダニッシヨンスィッチや POWERスィッチに、 本発 明の適用が限定されるものではない。
本実施例に係る制御システムを構成する E P S— ECU420は、 SMR 50 0の開閉を制御する HV— ECU 320との通信が遮断されたとき (断線、 短絡 等) 、 EP Sァクチユエータ 410の作動が可能である状態を維持する。 すなわ ち、 通信線が正常であるときには、 EP S— ECU420から電力供給遮断可能 信号を受信した HV— ECU 320は、 E P Sァクチユエータ 410が供給電力 を必要としていないことが認識でき、 EP Sァクチユエータ 410の非作動中に SMR 500をオンからオフに切換えることができる。 しかしながら、 通信線が 異常であると、 HV— ECU320は、 EP Sァクチユエ一タ 410の作動状態 の如何に関わらず S MR 500の開閉制御を実行してしまうので、 EP Sァクチ ユエータ 410の作動中に供給電力が遮断される可能性がある。 本実施例に係る 制御システムを構成する EP S— ECU420は、 高圧電源である走行用バッテ リ 220を管理する HV— ECU 320との通信が異常であることを検出すると、 退避走行中においては EP Sァクチユエータ 410を正常に作動させる。 また、 HV—ECU320は、 高圧電¾1である走行用バッテリ 220から負荷への電力 供給の停止が要求されても、 E P Sァクチユエータ 410の動作状態が不明であ るので、 E P Sァクチユエータ 410の作動を考慮して、 SMR 500をオフに するように制御する。
このような本実施例に係る制御システムは、 デジタル回路やアナログ回路の構 成を主体と したハー ドウェアでも、 E C Uに含まれる C P U ( Central Processing Unit)およびメモリとメモリから読み出されて C P Uで実行されるプ ログラムとを主体としたソフトウェアでも実現することが可能である。 一般的に、 ハードウヱァで実現した場合には動作速度の点で有利で、 ソフトウ アで実現し た場合には設計変更の点で有利であると言われている。 以下においては、 ソフト ウェアとして制御装置を実現した場合を説明する。 なお、 このようなプログラム を記録した記録媒体についても本発明の一態様である。
図 4および図 5を参照して、 本実施例に係る制御システムを実現するために、 HV— ECU 320および E P S— ECU420が実行する、 プログラムの制御 構造について説明する。 なお、 このプログラムは、 サブルーチンであって、 予め 定められたサイクルタイムで繰り返し実行される。
ステップ (以下、 ステップを Sと記載する) 1000にて、. HV_ECU32 0は、 I G (イダニッシヨン) がオンされたか否かを判断する。 I Gオンを検出 すると (S 1000にて YES) 、 処理は S 1010へ移される。 もしそうでな いと (S 1000にて NO) 、 処理は S 1000へ戻されて、 I Gオンを検出す るまで待つ。
S 101 0にて、 HV一 ECU 320は、 ST (システムスタート) がオンさ れたか否かを判断する。 STオンを検出すると (S 1010にて YES) 、 処理 は S 1020へ移される。 もしそうでないと (S 1010にて NO) 、 処理は S 1010へ戻されて、 S Tオンを検出するまで待つ。
S 1020にて、 HV一 ECU 320は、 SMR 500をオンして、 プリチヤ ージ処理を開始する。 このとき、 正極のメイン SMRをオンし、 次に制限抵抗が 直列に接続された負極のプリチャージ SMRをオンしてプリチャージを開始する。 このプリチャージ処理は、 負荷側の電圧値が予め定められた電圧値以上に到達し た力、 予め定められたプリチャージ時間が経過したことにより、 完了する。 以下. の説明では、 プリチャージ処理は、 プリチャージ処理の開始からプリチャージ時 間で完了するものとして説明する。
S 1030にて、 HV— E CU 320は、 高圧接続が完了したか否かを判断す る。 このとき、 HV_ECU320は、 プリチャージ処理の開始からプリチヤ一 ジ時間が経過すると高圧接続が完了したと判断する。 このとき、 HV— ECU3 20は、 正極のメイン SMRをオンの状態のままで、 制限抵抗が接続されていな い負極のメイン SMRをオンして高圧システムの起動を完了させる。 高圧接続が 完了すると (S I 030にて YES) 、 処理は S 1040へ移される。 もしそう でないと (S 1030にて NO) 、 処理は S 1030へ戻されて、 高圧接続が完 了するまで待つ。 なお、 プリチャージ処理の開始からプリチャージ時間を経過し てさらに一定時間が経過すると、 異常処理を行なうようにしても良い。
S 1040にて、 HV— ECU 320は、 高圧電源使用許可信号を E P S— E
CU420に送信する。 このとき、 HV— ECU300と EP S— ECU420 との間の通信線は正常であると想定する。
S 1050にて、 HV— ECU 320は、 高圧電源使用中信号を E P S— E C U420から受信したか否かを判断する。 高圧電源使用中信号を受信すると (S 1050にて YES) 、 処理は S 1060へ移される。 もしそうでないと (S 1 050にて NO) 、 処理は S 1050へ戻されて、 高圧電源使用中信号を受信す るまで待つ。 なお、 高圧電源使用中信号は、 EP S— ECU420以外の走行用 バッテリ 220から電力の供給を受ける構成機器を制御する ECU (MG— EC U (走行系) 、 エアコン ECU (環境系) 等) から受信するようにしても構わな レ、。 このとき、 HV— ECU300と EP S— ECU420との間の通信線は正 常であると想定する。
S 1060にて、 HV— ECU 320は、 高圧電源使用中フラグをセットする。 なお、 このとき、 HV— ECU320は、 MG、 EP S, エアコンディショナの 電動コンプレッサ等の走行用バッテリ 220から電力の供給を受ける構成機器を 識別できるように高圧電源使用中フラグをセットするようにしても構わない。
S 1070にて、 HV— ECU320は、 通信状態を監視する。 この通信状態 の監視方法については、 公知の技術を用いればよいので、 ここでの詳細な説明は 繰り返さない。
S 1080にて、 HV_ECU320は、 通信異常を検出したか否かを判断す る。 通信異常を検出すると (S 1080にて YES) 、 処理は図 5の S 1090 へ移される。 もしそうでないと (S 1080にて N〇) 、 処理は S 1070へ戻 されて、 通信状態を検束して監視する。 なお、 本プログラムがサブルーチンであ ることを考慮すると、 通信異常を検出しないと (S 1080にて NO) 、 処理を S 1 070へ戻すでのはなく、 このサブルーチンプログラムを終了させることも 可能である。 このような処理とすることが可能である場合であっても、 以下にお いてはその説明を繰り返さないこととする。
S 1 090にて、 HV_ECU320は、 通信異常フラグをセットする。 なお、 セットされた通信異常フラグは、 ダイァグ (Diagnosis) としてメモリに記憶さ れる。
S 1 100にて、 HV—ECU320は、 I G (イダニッシヨン) がオフされ たか否かを判断する。 I Gオフを検出すると (S 1 100にて YES) 、 処理は S 1 1 10へ移される。 もしそうでないと (S 1 100にて NO) 、 処理は S 1 100へ戻されて、 I Gオフを検出するまで待つ。
S 1 1 1 0にて、 HV— ECU320は、 S MR遮断遅延時間を設定する。 こ のとき、 セットされている高圧電源使用中フラグの種類に応じて、 SMR遮断遅 延時間を変更して設定することも可能である。 たとえば、 走行系の MGや操舵系 の E P Sに比べて環境系の電動エアコンディショナについては退避処理中におけ る電動エアコンディショナを作動可能な状態にすることの重要性が高くないので、 短く設定することも可能である。 逆に、 運動系である、 走行系の MGや操舵系の EP Sは退避処理中において作動可能な状態にすることの重要性が高いので、 長 く設定することも可能である。 さらに、 走行系の MGについては、 車速がしきい 値よりも低下してしまうと作動可能な状態でなくてもよいと考えて、 車速を検出 して、 SMR 500をオフにするタイミングを制御するようにしても構わない。
S 1 1 20にて、 HV— ECU320は、 遅延タイマをスタートさせる。 S 1
1 30にて、 HV— ECU320は、 遅延タイマがタイムアップしたか否かを判 断する。 遅延タイマがタイムアップすると (S 11 30にて YES) 、 処理は S 1 140へ移される。 もしそうでないと (S 1 130にて NO) 、 処理は S 1 1 30へ戻され、 遅延タイマがタイムアップするまで待つ。
S 1 140にて、 HV— ECU 320は、 S MR 500をオフにして (正極側 メインリ レーまたは zおよび負極側メインリ レーを非通電状態にして) 、 高圧系 を遮断する。 すなわち、 走行用バッテリ 220と負荷とを電気的に非接続な状態 とする。
図 4に戻って、 S 2000にて、 EPS— ECU420は、 I Gオンしたか否 かを判断する。 I Gオンを検出すると (S 2000にて YES) 、 処理は S 20 10へ移される。 もしそうでないと (S 2000にて NO) 、 処理は S 2000 へ戻されて、 I Gオンを検出するまで待つ。 なお、 この S 200◦における I G オンの検出も、 上述した S 1000の I Gオンの検出と同じであるが、 I Gオン /オフ信号が HV— ECU 320と EP S— ECU420とに並列に入力されて いるので、 EP S— ECU420が HV— ECU320から受信した信号に基づ いて I Gオンを検出するものではないことを確認的に記載しておく。
S 2010にて、 EP S— ECU 420は、 高圧電源使用許可信号を H V— E CU 320から受信したか否かを判断する。 高圧電源使用中許可信号を受信する と (S 2010にて YES) 、 処理は S 2020へ移される。 もしそうでないと (S 2010にて NO) 、 処理は S 2010へ戻されて、 高圧電源使用中許可信 号を受信するまで待つ。 このときも、 上述のように、 HV— ECU300と EP S— ECU420との間の通信線は正常であると想定する。
S 2020にて、 EP S— ECU420は、 高圧電源の使用の開始を判断する。 このタイミングは、 運転者のステアリングの操作角、 車速等に基づいて、 EP S ァクチユエータ 410で EP Sを作動させると判断された時である。
S 2030にて、 EP S—ECU420は、 高圧電源使用中信号を H V— E C U320に送信する。 このときも、 上述のように、 HV— E CU 300と E P S '― ECU420との間の通信線は正常であると想定する。
S 2040にて、 EP S— ECU420は、 EPSの作動を開始する。 より具 体的には、 EP S— ECU420は、 運転者のステアリングの操作角、 車速等に 基づいて、 EP Sァクチユエータ 410である電動モータに作動指令信号を出力 する。 このとき、 E P Sァクチユエータ 410である電動モータは、 走行用バッ テリ 220の電力であって、 降圧コンバータ 400により 288 V程度 (走行用 バッテリ 220の定格電圧) から 46 V程度まで下げられた電力を用いて作動す る。
S 2050にて、 EP S— ECU420は、 通信状態を監視する。 この通信状 態の監視方法については、 上述の HV— ECU 320における処理と同じように 公知の技術を用いればよいので、 ここでの詳細な説明は繰り返さない。 S 2060にて、 EPS_ECU420は、 通信異常を検出したか否かを判断 する。 通信異常を検出すると (S 2060にて YES) 、 処理は図 5の S 207 0へ移される。 なお、 通信異常は、 HV— ECU 320と EP S— ECU420 とで、 大きな時間差を発生させることなく検出される。
S 2070にて、 EP S— ECU420は、 通信異常フラグをセットする。 な お、 セットされた通信異常フラグは、 ダイァグ (Diagnosis) としてメモリに記 憶される。 S 2080にて、 EPS— ECU420は、 EP Sの作動を継続させ る。 このとき、 後述するように、 走行用バッテリ 220から供給された電力によ り E P Sが作動する。
S 2090にて、 EPS— ECU420は、 I Gがオフされたか否かを判断す る。 I Gオフを検出すると (S 2090にて YE S) 、 処理は S 2100へ移さ れる。 もしそうでないと (S 2090にて NO) 、 処理は S 2090へ戻されて、 I Gオフを検出するまで待つ。
S 2100にて、 EP S_ECU420は、 EP Sの遮断処理 (退避処理) を 実行する。 たとえば、 EP S— ECU420は、 EP Sァクチユエータ 410へ 制御信号が一旦途絶えると (運転者の操舵要求がなくなると) 、 その後は出力さ れないように保護機能を作動させる。
以上のような構造およびフローチャートに基づく、 本実施例に係る制御システ ムである HV— ECU320および EP S— ECU420により制御されるハイ プリッド車両の動作について説明する。
EP S機能を搭載したハイプリッド車両に運転者が搭乗して、 I Gスィッチを オンにすると、 HV_ECU320が I Gオンを検出する (S 1000にて YE S) 。 また、 EP S— ECU420も HV— ECU320と通信することなく I Gオンを検出する (S 2000にて YES) 。
運転者がハイブリッドシステムを起動させるために POWERスィッチを押す と、 HV一 ECU 320により STオンが検出される (S 1010にて YES) 。 SMR 500を用いてプリチャージ処理が実行され (S 1020) 、 プリチヤ一 ジ時間後に走行用バッテリ 220の正極側メインリレーおよび負極側メインリ レ 一が電気的に接続されて高圧接属された状態になる (S 1030にて YES) 。 H V_E C U 320は、 E P S_E CU420に高圧電源使用許可信号を送信す る (S 1040) 。
これを受けて、 EP S— ECU420は、 HV— ECU420から高圧電源使 用許可信号を受信する (S 2010にて YE S) 。 運転者が、 たとえば遅い車速 でステアリングを大きく操舵すると、 EP Sを作動させると判断されて、 高圧電 源の使用を開始すると判断される (S 2020) 。 EPS— ECU42 ( i、 H V— ECU 320に高圧電源使用中信号を送信する (S 2030) 。
これを受けて、 HV— ECU 320は、 E P S— ECU420から高圧電源使 用中信号を受信する (S 1050にて YES) 。 高圧電源使用中フラグがセット される (S 1060) 。
このような状態において、 HV— ECU320も EP S一 ECU420も、 H V_ECU320と EP S— ECU420との間の通信を監視する (S 1070、 S 2050) 。 HV— ECU320と EP S— ECU420との間の通信線が断 線すると、 HV— ECU320も EP S— ECU420も、 通信異常を検出して (S 1080にて YES、 S 2060にて YES) 、 通信異常フラグをセットす る (S 1090、 S 2070) 。 このとき、 EPSは作動状態であり、 E P Sの 作動が継続される (S 2080) 。 このとき、 HV_E CU 320で制御される SMR500は、 高圧接続を完了した状態であるので、 走行用バッテリ 220力、 ら供給された電力により EPSァクチユエータ 410が作動を継続する。
運転者が、 I Gスィッチをオフにすると (ハイブリッドシステムの停止および 車両の全システムの停止) (S 2090にて YES) 、 EP Sの遮断処理が行な われる (S 2100) 。 これと並行して、 I Gスィツチをオフにすると (S 1 1 00にて YES) 、 SMR500の開閉を制御する HV— ECU320において は、 SMR遮断遅延時間が設定される。 EP Sに関してこの遅延時間に言及すれ ば、 EP Sの遮断処理が完了する 5秒程度である。
SMR遮断遅延タイマがスタートしてタイムアップするまでは (S 1 1 30に て NO) 、 SMR 500は電気的に走行用バッテリ 220と負荷 (降圧コンパ一 タ 400) とを電気的に接続している。 このため、 E P Sァクチユエータ 410 は降圧コンバータ 400から供給された走行用バッテリ 220の電力を用いて作 動されて、 EP S遮断処理が行なわれる (S 2100) 。
SMR遮断遅延タイマがスタートしてタイムアップすると (S 1 130にて Y ES) 、 EP S遮断処理が完了しており (退避処理が完了しており) 、 SMR5 00が電気的に走行用バッテリ 220と負荷 (降圧コンバータ 400) とを電気 的に非接続な状態になるように、 切換えられる。 これにより、 ハイブリッドシス テムが遮断される。
以上のようにして、 本実施例に係る制御システム (HV— ECUおよび EP S —ECU) によると、 走行用パッテリの電力により作動される電気機器を制御す る制御装置 (ECU) と走行用バッテリの電力供給を制御する制御装置 (HV— ECU) との間の通信線が異常になっても、 走行用バッテリの電力により作動さ れる電気機器を正常に退避動作させることができる。
今回開示された実施例はすべての点で例示であつて制限的なものではないと考 えられるべきである。 本発明の範囲は上記した説明ではなくて請求の範囲によつ て示され、 請求の範囲と均等の意味および範囲内でのすべての変更が含まれるこ とが意図される。

請求の範囲
1. 第 1の制御装置 (320) と第 2の制御装置 (420) と前記第 1の制 御装置 (320) および第 2の制御装置 (420) を接続する信号線とを含む車 両の電源システムであって、
前記第 1の制御装置 (320) は、
前記車両の搭乗者の操作に基づいて、 前記車両に搭載された蓄電機構 (22 0) と電気負荷 (240、 410) との間の電気的な接続および遮断を制御し、 前記信号線の異常を検出し、
前記車両の搭乗者による電気的な接続の遮断要求操作を検出し、
前記蓄電機構 (220) と前記電気負荷 (240、 410) との間が電気的に 接続されているときであって前記信号線の異常を検出したときに、 前記遮断要求 操作を検出しても、 前記第 2の制御装置 (420) についての予め定められた条 件が成立するまで、 電気的な接続を遮断しないように制御し、
前記第 2の制御装置 (420) は、
前記蓄電機構 (220) から供給された電力により作動する電気負荷 (240、 410) を制御し、
前記信号線の異常を検出し、 .

12. 前記遮断要求操作は、 ィグニッシヨンスィツチのオフ指令操作である、 請求の範囲第 8項に記載の車両の電源システム。
13. 前記蓄電機構 (220') は、 前記車両走行用の蓄電機構であって、 前記電気負荷 (41 0) は、 車両運動系の電気負荷である、 請求の範囲第 8項 に記載の車両の電源システム。
14. 前記車両運動系の電気負荷 (410) は、 電動パワーステアリングで ある、 請求の範囲第 1 3項に記載の車両の電源システム。
