本発明の表示装置用照明装置は、複数の光源15と、前記光源15に対して駆動電力を供給する電源19と、前記駆動電力を前記複数の光源15に対して供給するための共通電極110と、前記各光源15をそれぞれ保持するとともに、前記共通電極110から前記駆動電力を前記各光源15に対して個別に供給する複数の保持電極180と、前記共通電極110と前記各保持電極180との間に介在する誘電部100と、を備えることを特徴とする。
