Abstract

 排ガス浄化用触媒1は、触媒基材3と、前記触媒基材3上に形成され、(a)Rh、(b)Pt、(c)アルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属元素、及び(d)無機酸化物を含む触媒コート層5、7とを有し、前記触媒コート層5、7は、前記(a)が実質的に偏在する内層5と、前記(b)が実質的に偏在する外層7とを備えた層構造を有し、前記内層5は、ジルコニア酸化物を含むことを特徴とする。
