Abstract

【課題】　磁気抵抗効果素子を使用した磁気検出方法および磁気検出装置において、素子の特性にばらつきがあってもそのばらつきを補正した検知動作ができるようにする。 【解決手段】　磁気抵抗効果素子と固定抵抗素子とが直列に接続されている磁気検出装置において、両素子に互いに逆向きの電流を与え、且つ外部磁界を変化させて、変化曲線αと変化曲線βを得て、両曲線αとβの交点ｋを求めることで、電源電圧の１／２の値を知ることができる。また出力が電源電圧の１／２となるときの外部磁界の大きさＨ１０を得ることができる。この情報からしきい値電圧Ｖ１１とＶ１２を設定することで、変化曲線αのオフセット量を実質的に補正するとができる。
