Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de revenu d'une pièce à usiner. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à se procurer une pièce à usiner en alliage ferreux ayant une phase de martensite et/ou de bainite dans celle-ci, chauffer au moins une partie de la pièce à usiner à une température présélectionnée puis refroidir la pièce à usiner à une température inférieure. La température présélectionnée est au-dessous de la température d'austénisation de l'alliage et le chauffage est accompli en pas plus de 60 secondes. Un mode de réalisation de la présente invention comporte le chauffage de la pièce à usiner à l'aide d'un chauffage à résistance.
