Definitions
- the present invention relates to a dispensing device for bags with a housing in which there is a supply of bags, these bags forming a web which is rolled up into a roll, with a device for receiving or supporting the roll, with a gap , which is implemented in at least one of the walls of the housing, and through which the bags can be discharged from the housing, and with a tear-off, which is associated with the dispensing nip.
- An output device of this type is disclosed, for example, in CH-C 474 232.
- This output device has a rear wall and from the lateral edges of this rear wall are supporting elements for securing a reserve container for rolled-up plastic bags.
- a trough-shaped bottom is present, on which lies the role of the plastic bags.
- the plastic bags can be pulled out through a slot-shaped opening in the reserve container and separated at a jagged tear-off edge of the container from the remaining supply of plastic bags.
- Another disadvantage of this prior art device is that it can not be placed outdoors.
- One of these obstacles is the open gap in the reservoir. This gap can not be sealed against the penetration of eg rainwater.
- the bags are out Plastic. It is known that plastic adheres relatively well on smooth and wet surfaces, such as on the surface of a piece of metal. For example, rainwater in said housing or in the tub with the roll of bags would cause the outside of the bag located just in the peripheral region of the roll to adhere strongly to the wet surface of the tub. The supply roll would make an irregular resistance when the bags are removed, so that one could unintentionally remove several bags from the container, with the disadvantageous consequences described above.
- the object of the present invention is to overcome these and other disadvantages of the prior art.

- the present dispensing device has a housing 1.
- This housing 1 is essentially in two parts and comprises a substantially horizontal base plate 2 and an upper part 3.
- the upper part 3 is associated with the base plate 2 and it is hinged by means of a hinge 4 to the base plate 2.
- a base 5 is attached at the bottom of the base plate 2.
- the base 5 is designed as a column whose upper end is fixed to the base plate 2 by means of a top plate 6.
- the lower end of the column 5 is formed according to the situation.
- This end portion of the column 5 can be smooth, if the column 5 is to be sunk in the ground or similar. However, this end portion of the column 5 may also be provided with a foot plate (not shown) when the column 5 is to be bolted to the ground, for example.
- the upper housing part 3 comprises a container 10, which is open on one side and thus has an opening in this area.
- This container 10 has four side walls 11, 12, 13 and 14 and a bottom 1.
- the hinge 4 is connected on the one hand.
- the other side of the hinge 4 is connected to one of the edges of the base plate 2.
- the free edge of the opposite side of the container 12 is provided with a material strip 16 projecting obliquely from the container body or container jacket, which is intended to facilitate the opening of the housing 1.
- the container lies with its mouth on the base plate 2, so that the container casing covers the contents of the housing 1 like a lid.
- the interior of the housing 1 is protected by a thus executed container casing against the penetration of water, dirt, etc.
- an output gap 17 is executed, which is associated with a tear-off device 20. Said assignment takes place in such a way that the tear-off device 20 covers the output gap 17 from the outside or from the inside.
- the tear-off device 20 associated with the dispensing nip 17 as set forth prevents it largely that rainwater, dirt and other objects get into the interior of the housing 1.
- the tear-off device 20 is designed as a self-contained unit (FIGS. 13 and 14) which can be fastened to the wall 11 to 14 of the container 10.
- the tear-off device 20 has a substantially plate-shaped basic body 120 with the large surfaces 21 and 22.
- a guide gap 121 is executed in this main body 120.
- This guide gap 121 has two rectilinear and spaced-apart portions 122 and 123.
- the guide gap 121 has semicircular portions 124, between the end portions of which the straight portions 122 and 123 extend. These sections 122, 123 and 124 define the contour of the guide gap 121.
- the main body 120 of the tear-off device 20 is associated with the wall 11 to 14 of the housing 1 so that the opening in the guide gap 121 and the opening in the output gap 17 are aligned.
- the contour of the guide gap 121 is assigned a guide means 125 for the bags 30.
- This guide means 125 is designed as a protruding from one of the large surfaces 21 of the base body 120 of the tear-off device 20, lip-shaped or mouthpiece-like structure 125.
- This mouthpiece 125 comprises end portions 128 protruding from the main body 120 of the tear-off device 20, which are semicircular, each of these semicircular end portions 128 having end portions 24 and 25.
- the respective end section 128 of the mouthpiece 125 is assigned to one of the semicircular end sections 124 of the guide slot 121 and thus guided around the respective end section of the guide slot 121 of the tear-off device 20.
- the mouthpiece 125 further has, and in the case shown, a first, rectilinearly extending section 126, which likewise protrudes from the first large surface 21 of the main body 120.
- This linear projection 126 is associated with the upper linear peripheral portion 122 of the guide gap 121 of the tear-off device 20 and extends along this portion 122 of the guide gap 121.
- the end portions of this linear projection 126 are connected to the first end portions 24 of the semicircular end portions 128 of the mouthpiece 125 in that they are integral with these first end portions 24 of the end portions 128.
- the inner surface of the straight-line projection 126 is flush with the inner surface of the upper rectilinear peripheral portion 122 of the guide gap 121. Consequently, the opening in the mouthpiece 125 is flush with the opening in the guide gap 121.
- a clearance 18 is provided between the second end portions 25 of the semi-circular end portions 128 of the mouthpiece 125. This makes it possible to adapt the orientation of the position of the tear-off device 20 to the direction from which the bags 30 to be torn off are fed. Because the axis of the rolls containing the bags is normally at the level of the guide gap 121. That region of the circumference of the roll of bags from which the bags are withdrawn is therefore above or below the guide gap 121. The said clearance 18 allows to adapt the orientation of the tear-off device 20 to these two situations.
- the mouthpiece 125 has a second or lower and also rectilinear projection (not shown), which fills said space 18.
- a second protrusion thus extends between the second end portions 25 of the semicircular end portions 128 of the mouthpiece 125.
- This rectilinear protrusion is opposite to the lower protrusion 25.
- the inner surface of this rectilinear projection is flush with the inner surface of the lower rectilinear peripheral portion 123 of the guide nip 121. Consequently, the opening in the mouthpiece 125 is also in this case flush with the opening in the guide gap 121.
- a planar recess 137 is present in the second large area 22 of the main body 120 of the tear-off device 20 in the second large area 22 of the main body 120 of the tear-off device 20, a planar recess 137 is present.
- This recess 137 is rectangular and it is designed as a depression in the large area 22 of the main body 120 of the tear-off device 20. If the tear-off device 20 is assigned to the housing 1, then this depression 137 faces the inside of one of the walls 11 or 13 of the housing 1.
- the recess 137 of the tear-off 20 is associated with a braking means 23, in such a way that this braking means 23 is located on the inside of the lid 21.
- the braking means 23 is practically designed as a rectangular plate and the material of this plate is preferably rubber with a high coefficient of friction with respect to the material of the bag 30.
- the brake plate 23 has a longer slot 129 and a series of shorter slots 130.
- the long straight slot 129 extends parallel and substantially midway between the long sides 131 of the rectangular brake plate 23.
- the long slot 129 extends in the illustrated case between the first and the last short slot 130.
- the short slots 130 are so long that They begin at a distance from one of the long sides 132 of the brake plate 23, and that they end at virtually the same distance on the opposite, other long side 132 of the brake plate 23.
- the short, also straight slots 130 extend at right angles to the long slot 129 of the brake plate 23 and they are arranged parallel to each other.
- the series of shorter slots 130 begins at a distance to the shorter side 133 of the brake plate 23 and it ends at virtually the same distance on the opposite second shorter side 133 of the brake plate 23.
- the dimen- sions of the distances and the number of shorter slots 130 are selected.
- the respective bag 30 (FIG. 7) has the shape of a T-shirt and has a bag-shaped basic body 31. In the region of the mouth of the bag base body 31, loops 32 and 33 adjoin the base body 31, which can serve to support the filled bag 30.
- the bags 30 are connected in series and they form a web.
- the front edge 34 of the loops 32 and 33 adjoin the bottom edge 35 of the bag main body 31 in this path.
- a perforation 36 is executed, which extends virtually along the bottom edge 35.
- This perforation 36 constitutes a predetermined breaking point in order to achieve a clean separation of the bags 30 from one another in the present device.
- the force required for a given braking force of the braking means 23 for tearing off the respectively foremost bag from the following bag can be controlled.
- the bag web is rolled up into a roll 37 (Fig.
- each output gap 17 is executed and each output gap 17 is associated with a tear-off device 20 in the manner already described.
- roller 37 must be rotatably mounted in the housing 1.
- This storage must also be designed so that the rollers 37 can be replaced as easily and easily.
- devices 40 for supporting the respective rollers 37 which are arranged in the container 10 and which move relative to the base plate 2 of the device together with the device upper part 3 or pivot about the hinge 4 around. This pivoting of the upper part 3 allows access to the interior of the upper part 3 through the mouth of the same, which is in the ready state of the device below and rests on the base plate 2. In the folded-away state, the interior of the upper part 3 or of the container 10 is even accessible from above, so that the replacement of the rollers 37 can be carried out.
- the bearing devices 40 are arranged inside a frame 26 (FIG. 3) which has two approximately U-shaped sections 27 and 28.
- the webs 39 of the U-shaped frame sections 27 and 28 are at a distance from each other and they are practically parallel to each other. They are so long that the legs 29 of the frame sections or frame halves 27 and 28 bear against the inside of the side walls 11 and 13 of the container 10.
- the legs 29 of the U-shaped frame sections 27 and 28 are shorter than half the length of those container sides 11 and 13, which carry the respective tear-off device 20. However, the length of the legs 29 is chosen so that the end portions of these legs 29 overlap the edge portions of the tear-off devices 20. This allows the overlapping portions of the respective tear-off device 20 and the respective frame leg 29 to be secured to the container body 10 by means of a screw 19 or rivets.
- the web 39 of the closer to the rear side 14 of the container 10 frame part 28 is located on the inside of this container rear wall 14 practically close to.
- the distance between the webs 39 of the frame halves 27 and 28 is given mainly or substantially by the length of the supply roll 37, which extends between these webs 39 and should extend.
- the length of the side walls 11 and 13 of the container 10, to which the nozzles 20 are attached, is considerably larger than the length of the bag rollers 37, so that between the web 39 of the closer to the front wall 12 of the container 10 frame half 27 and this front wall 12th a cavity 45 is present.
- the bearing device 40 For the storage of a roller 37, the bearing device 40 has two bearing points 41 and 42. One of these bearings 41 is fixed, while the other bearing 42 is made compliant, so that a new supply roll 37 can be inserted into the storage device 40 and the roll core 38 can be removed from this storage device 40.
- the fixed bearing 41 has a disc 44, on which the supply roll 37 can rest on the front side or at one end and whose diameter is slightly larger than the outer diameter of a not yet started Vorratsrolle 37.
- This end plate 44 is in Fig. 8 in plan view shown.
- the outer Its edge of the main body 48 of this disc 44 has a circular contour.
- an opening 46 is formed with a likewise circular contour.
- the central opening 46 in the disk base body 48 is surrounded by an annular bead 43 which protrudes from the base body 48 and which may be integrally formed on this base body 48.
- the outer peripheral surface of this circular bead 43 has a diameter which is slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the opening in the roller core 38. This is because one of the end portions of the roller core 38 can be slipped onto this bead 43.
- a groove 47 is executed, whose longitudinal axis is parallel to the axis of the central opening 46 in the disc 44.
- the sink holes 75 are located on one side of the disk body 48, while in the other pair of bores 73 and 74, the sink holes 75 are located on the opposite side of the disk body 48.
- This design of the disc allows 41 and 42, the same discs 44 can be used at the two bearings.
- the face plate 44 of the fixed bearing 41 is secured to the inner side of the rear frame half 28 by means of a pair of screws (not shown) such that the bead 43 on this disc 44 faces away from the frame half 28.
- the screws pass through one of the pairs of diametrically opposed bores 71 and 72 or 73 and 74 in the disc body 48 through, the heads of these screws are recessed in the countersunk holes 75 of the outside of this disc 44.
- the compliant bearing 42 of the bearing device 40 includes two discs 44 of the embodiment just described as well as a substantially cylindrical pin 50 (FIG. 3).
- This bolt 50 is shown in a side view in FIG. 9 and in a front view in FIG. 10. It has a cylindrical base body or middle part 53.
- This bolt body 53 is hollow and the outer diameter of this body 53 is slightly smaller than the diameter of the central opening 46 in the disk 44, so that the bolt body 53 can be inserted through the central opening 46 in the respective disk 44 with a small clearance.
- a wedge 58 is formed, which protrudes from the outside of the bolt body 53 and rises above this and which extends in the axial direction of the bolt body 53.
- This wedge 58 comes to lie in the groove 47 in the central opening 46 when the bolt body 53 passes through the disc 44. This prevents the discs 44 from rotating on the pin 50.
- a collar 51 At one end of the cylindrical pin body 53 is a collar 51. This collar 51 can be formed on this pin end and thereby be integral with the rest of the pin 50.
- One of the discs 44 of this resilient bearing 42 is attached to the frame 12 closer to the front side 12 of the container 10. This attachment is made, as with the disc 44 of the fixed bearing 41, by means of two screws (not shown) passing through two of the diametrically opposite bores 71 and 72 or 73 and 74, the heads of these screws being in the respective countersunk holes 75 are sunk.
- This disc 44 is attached to the inside of the frame half 27. In this frame half 27 an opening is made whose diameter is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the bead 43 on one of the discs 44.
- this frame half 27 disc 44 is oriented so that the bead 43 is located in the opening of the frame half 27 ,
- the pin 50 is inserted into this disc 44 so that its collar 51 on the outside of the frame half 27, i. is in the free space 45 of the container 10 and that he can also move in this room 45. Since the wedge 58 is located in the recess or in the groove 47 of the respective disc 44, the pin 50 may move in the opening 46 of the disc 44 in its longitudinal direction, but it can not rotate in this opening 46.
- the second of said disks 44 of this resilient bearing 42 is arranged at the opposite end of the bolt 50, which lies in the roller space 56.
- This disc 44 is oriented so that the bead 43 on this end disc 44 faces the interior of the roller space 56 or the frame.
- the end face of the bead 43 is in the same plane as the end face of this end portion of the bolt body 53.
- a bore 57 (Fig. 9) is executed in this end of the bolt 50, and where the bead 43 of the Washer 44 is a bore 57 (Fig. 9) is executed.
- a corresponding transverse bore is executed. The transverse bores in the bead 43 and the bolt body 53 are brought into alignment and a heavy-duty pin is pushed through these openings.
- this inner disk 44 is fastened on the bolt body 53 and secured against displacement along the bolt body 53.
- the disk 44 is secured by means of the wedge 58 on the bolt body 53, the corresponding portion of which lies in the groove 47 of the bead opening 46.
- That portion of the bolt body 53 which extends between the two disks 44 of this resilient bearing 42 is surrounded by a coil spring 54.
- This coil spring 54 is supported at one end on the inside of the attached to the front frame half 27 end plate 44.
- the other end of the compression spring 54 is supported on the inside of the other end disc 44, which is located at the inner end of the bolt 50.
- the diameter of the helical spring 54 may be appreciably greater than the outer diameter of the bolt body 53.
- the respective disk 44 may be provided with a second bead (not shown). This bead is practically the same as the first and already described bead 43.
- this second bead is arranged on the side opposite to the first bead 43 side of the disk base body 48.
- the second bead is behind the first and visible in Fig. 8 bead 43.
- the outer diameter of the second bead corresponds to the inner diameter of the coil spring 54 so that this bead find in one of the end portions of the coil spring 54 and thus this place Can hold spring 54 at a predetermined distance from the bolt body 53.
- the present device is equipped with storage devices 40 for two supply rolls 37 and two tear-off devices 20.
- the supply rolls 37 are arranged parallel to one another and the tear-off devices 20 are assigned to the opposite side walls 11 and 13 of the container.
- the front wall 12 of the container 10 is provided with a lock 60.
- This lock 60 comprises a cylinder 61 of a known type, which passes through the front wall 12. At that end of this cylinder 61, which is located in the space 45, a hook 62 is mounted, which can engage behind a pin 63 which is attached to the base plate 2 of the housing 1.
- the edge 64 (Fig. 1) of the base plate 2 is bent upwards and on the inside of this edge part of the base plate 2, the pin 63 is fixed.
- a special key for example a key with an opening of triangular cross section, the hook 62 of the lock 60 can be pivoted and thereby brought into engagement with the pin 63.
- FIGS. 11 and 12 show a further possible embodiment of the present device, FIG. 11 showing this device in a perspective view View shows.
- Fig. 12 shows the present device in a side view after the upper part of this device has been folded away laterally.
- This embodiment of the present device is also in two parts and has an upper part 103 and a lower part 110.
- the upper part 103 of this device largely resembles the upper part 3 of the device according to FIG. 1.
- a difference compared to the upper part 3 according to FIG. 1 represents an opening 131 which is embodied in one of the side walls and advantageously in the front wall 14 of the upper part 103 , This opening 131 is located approximately in the middle of the width of the container wall 14 and thus lies between the already described supply rollers 37. This opening 131 thus opens into the roller space 56 in the upper part 103.
- the lower part 110 of this device is designed as a hollow body, which is open on one side.
- the lower part 110 is practically parallelepiped-shaped, although it may also be cube-shaped or similar.
- the most important condition for the shape of the lower part is that it has an opening or mouth 116 which can be covered by the upper part 103 and by which the cavity 56 in the upper part 103 and the cavity in the lower part 110 are connected to one another.
- the lower part 110 (FIG. 11) has side walls 111, 112, 113 and 114 as well as a bottom 115. On the outside of the bottom 115 of the already described base 5 is connected and it is practically perpendicular from this floor 115 from. Instead of as a pillar or a column running base 5, a console (not shown) may be connected to the bottom 115, so that such a device can also be mounted or attached to a wall.
- the lower part 110 In its upper region, the lower part 110 has an orifice 116 which lies practically in a horizontal plane and which may be covered by the upper part 103.
- the edge of the Upper part 103 is assigned to the edge part of the lower part 110 in such a way that the mouth in the container 10 of the upper housing part 103 sits on the mouth 116 of the lower housing part 110.
- the horizontal cuts made by the upper part 103 and the lower part 110 have practically the same shape and practically the same dimensions.
- a bag for example a waste bag (not shown) may be clamped, the remaining part of which is located in the interior of the lower part 110.
- Objects to be stored in such a device are thrown through the opening 131 in the upper housing part 103 into the interior 56 thereof. Such objects then pass in free fall through the mouth 116 of the lower part 110 in this and thus in the bag.
