Cabriolet pourvu d'un toit en dur rétractable qui peut être déplacé entre une position de fermeture et une position de rangement à l'arrière sous un capot (7) de logement de capote et qui est retenu verrouillé dans sa position de fermeture par un dispositif de verrouillage comportant une serrure (34) placée sur une partie arrière du toit en dur rétractable. Selon la présente invention, lorsque le toit en dur rétractable est fermé, la serrure (34) est verrouillée sur une zone de bordure avant (10) du capot (7) fermé de logement de capote.
