Abstract

 コアとクラッドとを有し石英系ガラスからなる光ファイバであって、波長1300nmにおけるモードフィールド径が6.5μm以上であり、波長1250nmの光をシングルモード伝搬し、曲率半径1.5mmで曲げたときの波長1300nmにおける曲げ損失が1dB/ターン以下である。これによって、曲げ損失及び接続損失の両損失の低減を実現し、高速光伝送を行える光ファイバおよび光ファイバテープを得て、これにより容易に光インターコネクションシステムを構築する。
