Abstract
La présente invention concerne un appareil d'affichage (104) qui comprend une première unité (10) et une seconde unité (12). La première unité (10) possède m lampes à décharge de gaz (111), ne paires d'électrodes d'affichage (X1-Xne, Y1-Yne) et m électrodes de signal (A1-Am). La seconde unité (12) possède m lampes à décharge de gaz (112), nc paires d'électrodes d'affichage (X1-Xnc, Y1-Ync) et m électrodes de signal (A1-Am). Lorsqu'une première tension de balayage est appliquée à une électrode d'affichage particulière (Y1) des nc paires d'électrodes d'affichage pendant un premier intervalle, un second circuit de tension d'adresse (402) s'applique aux m électrodes de signal de la seconde unité (12), un premier ensemble d'impulsions de tension d'adresse ayant une durée supérieure aux autres impulsions de tension d'adresse.
