Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de production de gaz de houille sous haute pression et enrichi en H2 comprenant les étapes suivantes : chauffage complémentaire de la vapeur sous haute pression provenant de la chaudière par un matériau réfractaire; préchauffage de la vapeur à une température comprise entre 900 et 1300 pour une pression de 0.1-3.0 MPa par un échangeur de chaleur, carbonisation et gazéification de charbons hautement volatils par la vapeur dans un lit fluidisé, introduction du gaz produit à une température supérieure à 900 dans un four à cuve chargé de coke pour reformer le gaz produit, et dépoussiérage/purification du produit gazeux aux fins d'utilisation. AVANTAGES: 1. Ce procédé a une excellente flexibilité pour s'adapter à la houille et permet de convertir de la houille de qualité médiocre en gaz de houille de grande qualité. 2. Les teneurs en vapeur et en CO2 du gaz de houille produit sont faibles, la teneur en N2 est réduite à une valeur très faible, et la chaleur de combustion du gaz de houille est élevée. 3. Ce procédé est mis en oeuvre à une pression de vapeur, c'est pourquoi du gaz de houille sous haute pression est produit sans compression par un compresseur et la consommation d'énergie secondaire est évitée. 4. Le gaz de houille ainsi obtenu a une teneur en hydrogène élevée et est particulièrement adapté à la fusion par l'énergie associée à l'hydrogène et les productions de gaz de synthèse et de méthanol.
