La présente invention se rapporte à un dispositif (1) d'écartement et de verrouillage provisoire dans une position pseudo-fermée d'un élément ouvrant (6) sur un élément fixe (3) d'une carrosserie d'un véhicule automobile, comprenant, d'une part, une platine de fixation (2) destinée à l'ancrage du dispositif dans l'élément fixe, et d'autre part, un élément de butée (4) apte à servir d'appui à l'élément ouvrant et présentant une première extrémité (11) rattachée à la platine de fixation, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de butée présente une partie intermédiaire (12) s'étirant dans une direction sensiblement perpendiculaire à la platine de fixation et terminé par une deuxième extrémité (13) recourbée vers la platine de fixation (2), la partie intermédiaire et la deuxième extrémité étant conformées de manière à pouvoir être logées entre l'élément fixe et l'élément ouvrant dans la position pseudo-fermée et à ménager un espace pour recevoir un rebord (6b) de ce dernier.

Description

Dispositif d'écartement et de verrouillage provisoire d'un élément ouvrant sur un élément fixe
La présente invention se rapporte à un dispositif d'écartement et de verrouillage provisoire dans une position pseudo-fermée, d'un élément ouvrant sur un élément fixe d'une carrosserie d'un véhicule automobile.
Avant le rattachement définitif d'un élément ouvrant, tel qu'une porte, un capot, ou un hayon, entre autres, sur un élément fixe d'une carrosserie d'un véhicule automobile, il est généralement procédé à des étapes d'application d'un ou plusieurs revêtements, tels que des revêtements de protection ou l'application d'une couche de peinture. Lors de tels traitements, ces éléments ouvrants ne sont pas encore équipés de dispositifs de fermeture définitifs, par exemple des serrures.
Pour cette raison, il est prévu des dispositifs d'écartement et de verrouillage provisoire qui permettent de maintenir un élément ouvrant dans une position pseudo-fermée par rapport à l'élément fixe auquel il doit être rattaché.
Les documents EP 0 931 895 et FR 2 833 562 décrivent chacun un dispositif de ce type comprenant, d'une part, une platine de fixation destinée à permettre l'ancrage du dispositif dans l'élément fixe, et d'autre part, un corps rattaché à la platine de fixation et formant une butée apte à servir d'appui à l'élément ouvrant.
Toutefois, un des inconvénients de ces dispositifs est qu'ils prennent appui sur une zone de la carrosserie destinée à être recouverte de peinture. De ce fait, ces dispositifs d'accrochage laissent une marque sur la carrosserie peinte après leur retrait, ce qui nécessite une retouche de peinture.
La présente invention a pour but de pallier l'inconvénient précédemment évoqué et consiste pour cela en un dispositif d'écartement et de verrouillage provisoire dans une position pseudo-fermée d'un élément ouvrant sur un élément fixe d'une carrosserie d'un véhicule automobile, comprenant, d'une part, une platine de fixation destinée à l'ancrage du dispositif dans l'élément fixe, et d'autre part, un élément de butée apte à servir d'appui à l'élément ouvrant et présentant une première extrémité rattachée à la platine de fixation, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de butée présente une partie intermédiaire s'étirant dans une direction sensiblement perpendiculaire à la platine de fixation et terminé par une deuxième extrémité recourbée vers la platine de fixation, la partie intermédiaire et la deuxième extrémité étant conformées de manière à pouvoir être logées entre l'élément fixe et l'élément ouvrant dans la position pseudo-fermée et à ménager un espace pour recevoir un rebord de ce dernier.
Par élément ouvrant, il convient d'entendre toute partie de carrosserie, telle qu'une portière, un capot, un hayon, qui est mobile par rapport à la carrosserie du véhicule automobile.
Ainsi, le fait de prévoir une partie de la butée présentant une extrémité recourbée et destinée à être logée entre l'élément ouvrant et l'élément fixe permet au dispositif d'écartement de venir prendre appui dans une zone non visible de l'élément ouvrant lorsque celui-ci est définitivement monté, parce que réservé par exemple à une serrure ou un élément d'habillage. De ce fait, le dispositif d'écartement n'empêche pas l'application de la peinture et ne laisse aucune zone non peinte sur l'élément ouvrant.
Avantageusement, l'extrémité recourbée de l'élément de butée est conformée de manière à venir au contact d'une zone de l'élément ouvrant destinée à recevoir un élément d'habillage. L'élément d'habillage peut être, par exemple, une pièce de tissu ou de cuir, ou tout élément de décoration intérieure du véhicule, ou encore un joint de fermeture.
Avantageusement encore, l'extrémité recourbée est adaptée de manière à pouvoir venir partiellement au contact de l'élément fixe correspondant.
Préférentiellement, l'extrémité recourbée est adaptée de manière à pouvoir se déformer au moins partiellement de manière élastique sous l'action de contraintes exercées par l'élément ouvrant. De manière avantageuse, le dispositif selon l'invention comprend un ergot de retenue élastique apte à coopérer avec un bord de l'élément ouvrant pour verrouiller ce dernier dans la position pseudo-fermée. Ainsi, lors du déplacement de l'élément fixe le long d'une chaîne d'assemblage, l'élément ouvrant est maintenu dans sa position et ne risque pas de s'ouvrir, un bord de l'élément ouvrant doit être entendu au sens large et peut être constitué par tout type de bord.
Selon une première variante de réalisation la platine de fixation est équipée d'un pion destiné à coopérer avec un orifice de l'élément fixe, et est apte à recevoir une vis de fixation destinée à coopérer avec un orifice taraudé de l'élément fixe. Selon une deuxième variante de réalisation la platine de fixation comprend des moyens de fixation clipsables sur l'élément fixe de la carrosserie.
Préférentiellement, le dispositif selon l'invention est réalisé à partir d'un matériau thermoplastique apte à supporter une température au moins égale à 1800C. Il s'agit généralement de la température des fours destinés au séchage d'un produit de revêtement précédemment appliqué.
Préférentiellement encore l'élément de butée est monobloc avec la platine de fixation (2). La mise en œuvre de l'invention sera mieux comprise à l'aide de la description détaillée qui est exposée ci-dessous en regard du dessin annexé dans lequel :

Un dispositif 1 d'écartement et de verrouillage provisoire selon l'invention, tel que représenté sur les figures 1 à 5, comprend un corps monobloc conçu à partir d'un matériau thermoplastique mis en forme, et se décomposant, d'une part, en une platine de fixation 2 destinée à permettre l'ancrage temporaire du dispositif 1 dans un élément fixe 3 d'une carrosserie d'un véhicule automobile, et d'autre part, en un élément de butée 4 destiné à servir d'appui à un élément ouvrant 6.
La platine de fixation 2 est équipée de moyens d'attache comprenant, d'une part, un pion 8 destiné à être inséré dans un orifice de l'élément fixe 3, et d'autre part, un perçage 9 destiné à recevoir une vis de fixation 10 apte à coopérer avec un orifice taraudé de l'élément fixe 3. Alternativement, on pourra prévoir un système de fixation clipsable au moyen de crochets amovibles par exemple.
L'élément de butée 4 comprend une base 11 sensiblement parallélépipédique, évidée en son centre, formant une première extrémité par laquelle l'élément de butée est rattaché à la platine de fixation et présente une partie intermédiaire 12 s'étirant dans une direction sensiblement perpendiculaire à la platine de fixation 2 terminée par une deuxième extrémité 13 recourbée vers la platine de fixation 2. Cette partie intermédiaire a plus généralement la forme d'une queue de scorpion.
La partie intermédiaire 12 forme un rétrécissement reliant la deuxième extrémité 13 recourbée à la base 11 de l'élément de butée 4. Plus précisément, la partie intermédiaire 12 est solidaire d'une console 22 évidée ménagée d'un côté sur la base 11. La partie intermédiaire 12 et la deuxième extrémité 13 recourbée sont conformées de manière à ménager un espace apte à recevoir un rebord de l'élément ouvrant 6. La deuxième extrémité 13 recourbée forme une tête présentant, d'une part, une première surface extérieure 14a sensiblement plane destinée à être orientée en direction de l'élément ouvrant 6 pour venir au contact de celui-ci, et d'autre part, une deuxième surface extérieure 14b sensiblement plane destinée à être orientée en direction de l'élément fixe 3 pour venir au contact de celui-ci.
La partie intermédiaire 12 est réalisée sous la forme d'une âme 20 contenue dans un plan perpendiculaire à la platine de fixation 2 coupant symétriquement l'élément de butée 4, et d'un rebord raidisseur 21 , perpendiculaire et transversal, s'étendant transveralement de part et d'autre de l'âme 20, et continûment selon la bordure de l'âme 20.
La partie intermédiaire 12 confère à l'élément de butée 4, et plus précisément à sa deuxième extrémité 13 recourbée une certaine flexibilité permettant au dispositif 1 d'absorber dans une certaine mesure d'éventuels chocs contre l'élément ouvrant 6. La flexibilité peut être due au matériau utilisé et/ou à l'épaisseur de celui-ci, et/ou à la forme du rebord 21 par rapport à l'âme 20. Par ailleurs, le dispositif 1 comporte un ergot de retenue élastique
17 destiné à coopérer avec l'élément ouvrant 6 pour empêcher son ouverture au cours de l'étape de revêtement.
Un utilisateur souhaitant maintenir un élément ouvrant 6 dans une position de fermeture par rapport à un élément fixe 3 d'une carrosserie d'un véhicule automobile à l'aide d'un dispositif 1 selon l'invention, procédera de la façon suivante.
Initialement, l'élément fixe 3 de la carrosserie est mis en place sur une chaîne de montage le long de laquelle il progresse afin de subir diverses opérations d'assemblage. Cet élément fixe 3 présente des ouvertures destinées à recevoir des éléments ouvrants 6, tels que portières, hayon, capots. Ces ouvertures définissent chacune, par rapport à l'élément fixe 3 de carrosserie, un plan, par exemple sensiblement vertical dans le cas d'une portière, dans lequel se trouve la direction d'articulation.
Au cours de ces opérations d'assemblage, les éléments ouvrants 6 sont montés sur l'élément fixe 3 à l'aide de charnières adaptées. Toutefois, ces éléments ouvrants 6 ne sont pas encore équipés des dispositifs de fermeture et serrures définitives. Lorsque la carrosserie est prête à recevoir une application de peinture ou d'un revêtement de protection, les éléments ouvrants 6 doivent être placés dans une position proche de leur position de fermeture, ou position de pseudo-fermeture, de manière à revêtir toutes les parties externes de la carrosserie.
Ces éléments ouvrants 6 sont maintenus dans cette position à l'aide du dispositif 1 d'écartement et de verrouillage provisoire selon l'invention. Pour ce faire, le dispositif 1 d'écartement et de verrouillage est ancré, à l'aide du pion 8 et de la vis de fixation 10 traversant le perçage 9 de la platine de fixation 2, dans l'élément fixe 3 au niveau d'une zone de fixation (non visible). La platine de fixation 2 définit un plan d'ancrage sensiblement perpendiculaire au plan défini par l'ouverture dans l'élément fixe 3 correspondant à l'élément ouvrant 6 que l'on souhaite supporter.
Plus précisément, dans la position pseudo-fermée, le dispositif 1 d'écartement et de verrouillage est prévu pour être fixé temporairement sur l'élément fixe 3, dans le volume qu'occupera la serrure de l'élément ouvrant 6, correspondant à un logement 15 prévu sur ce dernier pour ladite serrure. Le logement 15 est formé par une découpe réalisée sur une face interne de l'élément ouvrant 6 et comporte un rebord 6a s'étendant perpendiculairement au plan de l'élément ouvrant 6 et un rebord 6b s'étendant parallèlement au plan de l'élément ouvrant 6.
La platine de fixation 2 ainsi mise en place, la deuxième extrémité 13 recourbée de l'élément de butée 4 vient en appui contre l'élément fixe 3 par l'intermédiaire de la deuxième surface plane 14b de la tête. L'élément ouvrant 6 est alors amené dans sa position pseudofermée de manière à ce qu'il vienne en appui sur la première surface plane 14a de l'extrémité recourbée de la partie intermédiaire 12 et se verrouille par l'intermédiaire du rebord 6b en dépassant puis échappant à l'ergot de retenue élastique 17. Ge faisant, l'élément ouvrant 6 prend appui sur la deuxième extrémité 13 de l'élément de butée 4 qui assure son support et son maintien dans la position pseudo-fermée souhaitée. L'élément ouvrant 6 est retenu dans cette position grâce à l'ergot de retenue 17 coopérant avec le rebord 6b.
Lors du transport de la carrosserie à travers la zone d'application du revêtement ou de la peinture, lors de la mise en place de l'élément ouvrant 6, et lors d'éventuelles autres manipulation, l'élément ouvrant 6 est susceptible de subir des contraintes extérieures qui l'amènent à venir heurter le ou les dispositifs 1 qui assurent son maintien. Afin d'éviter que de tels chocs endommagent la carrosserie, l'extrémité recourbée 13 de la partie intermédiaire 12 pourra être réalisée de manière à présenter une certaine élasticité lui permettant d'absorber ces éventuels chocs et ainsi d'empêcher qu'ils n'entraînent une déformation de l'élément ouvrant 6 voire une rupture de la butée 4.
Une fois le revêtement ou la peinture appliqué, les dispositifs 1 d'écartement et de verrouillage sont retirés et les dispositifs de fermeture définitifs ainsi que les serrures peuvent être installés.
Bien que l'invention ait été décrite en liaison avec des exemples particuliers de réalisation, il est bien évident qu'elle n'y est nullement limitée et qu'elle comprend tous les équivalents techniques des moyens décrits ainsi que leurs combinaisons si celles-ci entrent dans le cadre de l'invention.

Claims

REVENDICATIONS
1. Dispositif (1) d'écartement et de verrouillage provisoire dans une position pseudo-fermée d'un élément ouvrant (6) sur un élément fixe (3) d'une carrosserie d'un véhicule automobile, comprenant, d'une part, une platine de fixation (2) destinée à l'ancrage du dispositif dans l'élément fixe, et d'autre part, un élément de butée (4) apte à servir d'appui à l'élément ouvrant et présentant une première extrémité (11) rattachée à la platine de fixation, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de butée présente une partie intermédiaire (12) s'étirant dans une direction sensiblement perpendiculaire à la platine de fixation et terminé par une deuxième extrémité (13) recourbée vers la platine de fixation (2), la partie intermédiaire et la deuxième extrémité étant conformées de manière à pouvoir être logées entre l'élément fixe et l'élément ouvrant dans la position pseudo-fermée et à ménager un espace pour recevoir un rebord (6b) de ce dernier.
2. Dispositif (1) selon la revendication 1 , caractérisé en ce que l'extrémité (13) recourbée de l'élément de butée (4) est conformée de manière à venir au contact d'une zone de l'élément ouvrant (6) destinée à recevoir un élément d'habillage.
3. Dispositif (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que l'extrémité (13) recourbée est adaptée de manière à pouvoir venir partiellement au contact de l'élément fixe (3) correspondant.
4. Dispositif (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que l'extrémité (13) recourbée est adaptée de manière à pouvoir se déformer au moins partiellement de manière élastique sous l'action de contraintes exercées par l'élément ouvrant (6).
5. Dispositif (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un ergot de retenue (17) élastique apte à coopérer avec un bord (6b) de l'élément ouvrant (6) pour verrouiller ce dernier dans la position pseudo-fermée.

Dispositif (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce que la platine de fixation (2) est équipée d'un pion (8) destiné à coopérer avec un orifice de l'élément fixe (3), et est apte à recevoir une vis de fixation (10) destinée à coopérer avec un orifice taraudé de l'élément fixe.
7. Dispositif (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce que la platine de fixation (2) comprend des moyens de fixation clipsables sur l'élément fixe de la carrosserie.
8. Dispositif (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce qu'il est réalisé à partir d'un matériau thermoplastique apte à supporter une température au moins égale à 1800C.
9. Dispositif (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de butée (4) est monobloc avec la platine de fixation (2).
