Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour obtenir une culture de cellules souches/progénitrices neurales humaines adultes obtenues à partir de l'épithélium et de la lamina propria olfactive d'un adulte humain. Des cellules souches/progénitrices neurales humaines adultes ont été testées au moyen de 26 biopsies réalisées chez des hommes et des femmes entre 21 et 45 ans. L'invention concerne également une formulation de milieu de culture sans sérum qui permet la prolifération de cellules souches/progénitrices neurales humaines adultes pendant sept mois, dans des conditions sans sérum strictes, avec un temps de doublement de 15 jours. L'invention concerne en outre un nouveau procédé de mise en culture pour la prolifération de cellules souches/progénitrices neurales humaines adultes qui évite la formation de neurosphères. L'invention concerne de plus un procédé de différenciation de cellules souches/progénitrices neurales humaines adultes en neurones immatures. L'invention montre que les cellules humaines de l'épithélium olfactif constituent une source fiable pour la réparation de lésions tissulaires de la moelle épinière.
