Definitions

  • the vertical rolls 14, 14' are first horizontally spaced apart so as not to impede a vertical movement of the horizontal rolls 12, 12'. Then, the lower horizontal roll 12 is vertically moved a computed distance D from a lower reference position, which is determined by a mechanical stop (not shown), into a predefined zero position. This distance D is computed in function of the diameter of the horizontal roll 12 so that in said predefined zero position, the horizontal roll 12 has its upper generatrix in the pass line of the stand, which is identified in the figures by a doted line 28. .
  • Fig. 6 illustrates a second roll kissing, during which the two vertical rolls 14, 14' are pressed with rolling pressure against the two, previously aligned horizontal rolls 12, 12'.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de mise à zéro automatique d'une cage refouleuse universelle pour laminer un produit de section H. Ledit procédé consiste : à écarter les rouleaux verticaux horizontalement de manière à ne pas gêner un déplacement vertical des rouleaux horizontaux; à régler verticalement le rouleau horizontal inférieur sur une position zéro prédéfinie; à obtenir un premier contact de rouleaux en amenant le rouleau horizontal supérieur en contact avec le rouleau horizontal inférieur et en le pressant avec une pression de laminage contre ce dernier; à enregistrer les positions du rouleau horizontal inférieur et du rouleau horizontal supérieur pendant le premier contact de rouleaux en tant que valeurs zéro pour les rouleaux horizontaux; à écarter le rouleau horizontal inférieur et le rouleau horizontal supérieur symétriquement près de la ligne de passage de la cage refouleuse de manière à définir un entrefer d'une amplitude prédéterminée Y entre les deux rouleaux horizontaux, l'amplitude prédéterminée Y étant choisie de sorte que les rouleaux verticaux peuvent venir en contact avec les flancs coniques des rouleaux horizontaux; à obtenir un second contact de rouleaux par pression des rouleaux verticaux avec une pression de laminage contre les flancs coniques des rouleaux horizontaux; à enregistrer les positions des rouleaux verticaux pendant le second contact de rouleaux en tant que valeurs zéro auxiliaires X0' pour les rouleaux verticaux; et à calculer des valeurs zéro réelles X0 pour les rouleaux verticaux en fonction des valeurs zéro verticales auxiliaires X0', l'amplitude prédéterminée Y et l'angle entre une génératrice de la surface de laminage cylindrique et une génératrice des flancs de laminage coniques d'un rouleau horizontal.
