Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système de communication à propagation sur ligne électrique dans lequel des unités de communication à propagation sur ligne électrique (6b,6c) sont couplées, via des coupleurs de lignes de distribution basse tension (18a,18b), à une ligne de communication (13c) permettant de surveiller/commander un dispositif de commutation (11c) conçu pour connecter/déconnecter des lignes de distribution basse tension (3a,3b,3c) et des lignes de distribution haute tension (1a,1b,1c). Ledit système de communication à propagation sur ligne électrique assure donc la communication entre des terminaux de communication ou entre un terminal de communication et un réseau de niveau supérieur (9) par le biais de la ligne de communication (13c) et des unités de communication à propagation sur ligne électrique (6b,6c). La connexion des coupleurs de lignes de distribution basse tension à la ligne de communication évite de procéder à des coupures de l'alimentation et à des travaux d'électricité sur les lignes de distribution basse tension, qui seraient normalement requis pour connecter les coupleurs de ligne de distribution basse tension.
