Abstract

This invention provides a power line communications system in which power line transportation communicators (6b, 6c) are linked, through couplers (18a, 18c) for low voltage power line to a communications line (13c) equiped for monitor-controlling a switch apparatus (11c) which switches electrical connection between a low voltage power line (3a, 3b, 3c) and a high voltage power line (1a, 1b, 1c), and the communication between the communication terminal apparatuses or between a communication apparatus and an upper level network (9) is performed through the communication line (13c) and the power line transportation communicator (6b, 6c), wherein the coupler for low voltage power line is connected with the communication line, therefore, it is not necessary for the low voltage power line to perform the blackout operation or the like connecting with the coupler for low voltage power line.
