Abstract

L'invention concerne un amortisseur qui s'utilise dans des fourches à ressorts ou des suspensions arrières de bicyclettes. Le pédalage rythmé du cycliste entraîne une amorce d'oscillation de la suspension de la bicyclette. L'amortisseur supprime efficacement cette amorce d'oscillation et amortit, d'autre part, les chocs très sensibles dus aux irrégularités de la chaussée. La compression du piston de travail (4) entraîne toujours le déplacement du piston de commande (10). L'huile qui est chassée derrière le piston de commande (10), s'écoule par le petit orifice (20). Pour une compression moyenne à rapide du piston de travail (4), une pression dynamique s'établit devant le petit orifice (20) ouvrant ainsi le piston de fermeture (17) et donc la buse de palier de pression (14.2). Ainsi les chocs qui sont dus aux irrégularités de la chaussée et qui agissent sur la suspension, sont sensiblement amortis. Pour une compression lent du piston de travail (4), la pression dynamique n'atteint pas l'orifice (20) pour ouvrir le piston de fermeture (17). En conséquence, la buse de palier de pression (14.2) reste fermée et une amorce d'oscillation de la suspension de la bicyclette est empêchée par le pédalage du cycliste.
