  • US-B-6434 912 describes a device for conveying a row of loose objects in a vertical direction positioned one behind the other and extending in a substantially horizontal direction, whereby the device comprises two elongated support elements extending in a substantially horizontal direction to support the loose objects, it being possible to move both support elements in conjunction with a downward directional component between an upper position, in which they support the loose objects and a lower position in which the support elements have moved apart from each other, whereby the support elements are each connected in a rotatable fashion to a rotation axis extending parallel to the support elements and an elongated carrier element positioned below the middle of the support elements and extending in the longitudinal direction of the support elements, to support the loose objects if the support elements have moved apart from each other.

  • the arc radius of the concave support elements is in relation to the shape of the objects to be conveyed. • Each support element is preferably connected to the rotation axis by means of a connecting structure, whereby a cavity accessible from below is incorporated between the support elements and Uie connecting structure. Space is created for other structures in particular as a result of the low position of the support elements. Abstract
