Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a method and a system for importing audio clips during a voice call between a calling party A and at least one called party B, in which at least one of the participants A or B via the telecommunication terminal by pressing a button, a desired audio clip in the voice call playable is.
  • the field of application of the present invention extends to both the fixed and the mobile sector and serves primarily for entertainment. This allows a subscriber, during a voice call at another participant by pressing a button on his telecommunication terminal predefined audio clips play.

  • the advantage of the solution according to the invention lies in the fact that in order to use an audio clip recording, the telecommunication terminal of the using subscriber A only has to have the ability to generate DTMF tones. Even if this is not the case, then DTMF tones can be generated in a well-known manner by a simple accessory such as that also used for remote answering by answering machines. The installation of a special software for the realization of this additional function is completely eliminated. Corresponding memory space is saved at the telecommunication terminal. This functionality takes over the central VFS server. Because of the centralization, a provider can provide such audio clips also always the trend corresponding audio clips to choose from. It is also possible that third-party vendors, for example, feed daily changing audio clips based on user subscriptions in the VFS server. A billing of the service can be made by the normal telephone bill depending on extent of use of the service. The disadvantage of an advance payment before using the download principle is thus eliminated.
