Definitions
- the present invention relates to an optical pressure-sensitive adhesive and a pressure-sensitive adhesive optical film using the same.
- the optical pressure-sensitive adhesive and the pressure-sensitive adhesive optical film are suitably used for image display devices such as liquid crystal display devices, organic EL display devices, and PDPs.
- Examples of the optical film include a polarizing plate, a retardation plate, an optical compensation film, a brightness enhancement film, and a laminate of these films.
- the present invention also relates to a method for peeling the adhesive optical film from the liquid crystal cell substrate on which the adhesive optical film is bonded.
- polarizing elements In a liquid crystal display device, it is indispensable to dispose polarizing elements on both sides of a liquid crystal cell because of its image forming method, and generally a polarizing plate is attached.
- various optical elements are being used for liquid crystal panels in order to improve the display quality of displays.

- the adhesive is usually used.
- the adhesive between the optical film and the liquid crystal cell or the optical film is usually in close contact with each other using an adhesive in order to reduce the loss of light.
- the adhesive has an advantage that a drying step is not required to fix the optical film. Therefore, the adhesive is a pressure-sensitive adhesive optically provided in advance as an adhesive layer on one side of the optical film. Film is commonly used.
- Necessary characteristics required for the pressure-sensitive adhesive include: (1) When an optical film is bonded to the surface of a liquid crystal panel, the bonding position is incorrect, or a foreign object is trapped in the bonding surface. Also peel off the optical film surface force of the liquid crystal panel and re-bond (rework) (2) It has stress relaxation properties to prevent optical unevenness caused by dimensional changes of the optical film, and (3) Adhesion to durability tests such as heating and humidification that are normally performed as environmental promotion tests. For example, there is no problem caused by the agent.
- an optical film bonded to a liquid crystal panel via an adhesive easily peels off under high humidity. Therefore, a coupling agent is generally blended in the optical pressure-sensitive adhesive to improve durability in a humidified environment (see Patent Document 4 and Patent Document 5).
- the strong pressure-sensitive adhesive can suppress the peeling of the optical film in a humidified environment, but the adhesive strength is increased by that amount, which makes it difficult to peel off when separating and collecting.

Rth= (nx
