Further, the avatar manipulation by the user is carried out in a real time. In order words, the avatar manipulation by the user is delivered to the avatar manipulation application 101, and the avatar manipulation application 101 transmits the avatar identification information and the avatar motion information manipulated by the user to the avatar motion managing server 30.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de participer à un programme télédiffusé avec un avatar. Le procédé consiste à recevoir des informations d'identification d'avatar et des informations de mouvement d'avatar d'un utilisateur qui participe au programme télédiffusé, à créer l'avatar sur la base des informations d'identification d'avatar et des informations de mouvement d'avatar, à synthétiser l'avatar avec des données audio/vidéo en provenance d'une caméra, et à transmettre le signal de télédiffusion synthétisé à un écran pour qu'il y soit affiché. Le procédé de participation de l'invention permet de renouveler l'intérêt à participer à un programme télédiffusé et encourage la participation active. L'invention porte également sur un système qui permet la prise en charge de cette participation. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, la participation par avatar peut s'effectuer avec un échange de données minimisé.
