Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung, die nach dem Entfernen der in einem Gurtsystem vorhanden Gurtlosen durch ein Straffsystem, mit Hilfe eines in ei­nem Behälter (17) gespeicherten komprimierten Gases (18) über ein Kol­ben/Zylindersystem (10, 11, 13, 14) in das Gurtsystem (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) eine Kraft (F1, F2) erzeugt, die bei einem Unfall die notwendige Höhe zum Anhalten des Insassen hat. Die Beaufschlagung des Kolbens (13) mit dem im Behälter (17) komprimierten Gas (18) kann durch die Freigabe des mit einem Sperrstift (15) gesicherten Verschlusskolbens (16) oder auch mit einem eine Membran zerstörenden Pro­jektil erfolgen. Das im Behälter (17) befindliche komprimierte Gas (18) kann auch bei einem Aufprall durch einen pyrotechnischen Treibsatz auf den notwendigen Betriebs­druck gebracht werden, bei dem dann eine Berstmembran bricht. Die maximale Höhe des Gasdrucks kann durch ein Steuerventil (28) beeinflusst werden. Der Abbau des Gasdrucks nach Beendigung des Aufpralls kann durch eine Drosselöffnung (29) erfolgen.
