Abstract

L'invention concerne un sac gonflable et un module de sac gonflable pour un système de retenue de passagers de véhicule. Ledit sac gonflable présente deux parois latérales, de manière générale rectangulaires, qui, à l'état non gonflé, non déployé, sont sensiblement parallèles et interconnectées par l'intermédiaire d'une zone marginale (16) périphérique et entourent l'espace pouvant être rempli de gaz. Un orifice d'entrée (20) présentant un bord périphérique (22) et prévu pour une tubulure d'entrée de gaz (34), est disposée de manière à se trouver entièrement dans une des deux parois latérales (14a) et à proximité d'une section de la zone marginale, la surface retenue par le bord périphérique (22) se trouvant dans le plan de la paroi latérale (14a).
