Abstract

Bei einem Toroidgetriebe sind auf einer Zentralwelle eine ringförmige Zentralscheibe (31) mit einer toroidalen Reibfläche (63) und ein einer hydraulischen Anpressvorrichtung zugehöriger ringförmiger Hauptzylinder (4) jeweils drehfest und konzentrisch angeordnet. Dem gegenüber einem axialen Widerlager abstützbaren Hauptzylinder ist eine radiale Zwischenwand (5) zur Bildung von zwei Arbeitsdruckkammern zugeordnet, in denen jeweils ein axialer Druckkolben aufgenommen ist, aus dessen Druckbeaufschlagung eine axiale Betätigung der axial verschiebbar zur Zentralwelle angeordneten Zentralscheibe resultiert, so dass Anpresskräfte an der Reibfläche zur Wirkung bringbar sind. Der signifikante Druckkolben (9), welcher auf der der Zentralscheibe abgekehrten Stirnseite der Zwischenwand liegt, weist als mechanisches Betätigungsmittel einen axialen Ansatz (11) auf, der die Zwischenwand wirkungsmäßig umgeht und auf die Zentralscheibe zusätzlich zu deren Betätigung durch den auf der der Zentralscheibe zugekehrten Seite der Zwischenwand liegenden zweiten Druckkolben einwirkt. Eine in Umfangsrichtung gleichmäßige Verteilung der durch den signifikanten Druckkolben auf die Zentralscheibe ausgeübten Betätigungskräfte ist dadurch erreicht, dass der axiale Ansatz des signifikanten Druckkolbens sowohl ringförmig und koaxial zum Druckkolben ausgebildet ist als auch die Zentralöffnung der Zwischenwand durchsetzt (l) oder die Zwischenwand radial übergreift.
