  • the present invention relates to washstands filled with water for use in washing oneself.
  • a drain hole is closed to hold water in the washstand. After using the water, the drain hole is opened to drain the water from the washstand. As the water is drained through the drain hole, the water level in the washstand drops. Generally, it takes about 10 seconds to completely drain water from the washstand. Due to the required time, a user often uses water flowing from the tap while the drain hole is open, rather than using water trapped in the washstand. In this case, water consumption is three to four times as much as when using water trapped in the washstand, thus causing serious waste of water. Especially in water-stressed regions, it is necessary to make many efforts to save water.

Abstract

Cette invention concerne un lavabo, lequel est rempli d'eau permettant à un utilisateur de se laver et présente une structure améliorée composée d'une cuve supérieure et d'une cuve inférieure. Ce lavabo comprend une cuve inférieure (20) comportant des supports inférieurs (24) et un orifice d'évacuation (22), une cuve supérieure (10) qui repose sur des supports supérieurs (14) et une poignée (12) placée sur une partie avant de la cuve supérieure de manière que ladite cuve supérieure soit placée au-dessus et à l'intérieur de la cuve inférieure, et un robinet (30) positionné à l'arrière de la cuve supérieure et servant à faire couler de l'eau dans la cuve supérieure. Le lavabo est conçu de manière que l'eau puisse être entièrement évacuée d'une cuve supérieure en une seule fois, ce qui permet à un utilisateur de réutiliser immédiatement le lavabo, sans attendre que l'évacuation soit terminée. Par ailleurs, le lavabo de cette invention fait en sorte que l'utilisateur utilise l'eau contenue dans une cuve supérieure, ce qui permet d'économiser l'eau.
