  • a plurality of interval retainers 7, similar to those in vertical window blinds, are disposed on the connectors 5 of the casters 4 as shown in FIG. 2 A, so as to enable the slide bars 6 and the casters 4 to support the ceiling cover 2 with being spaced at regular intervals when the slide bars 6 and the casters 4 move to close the ceiling of the cargo container.
  • the ceiling of the cargo container can be easily opened by releasing tie ropes tying the ceiling cover 2, separating edges of the ceiling cover 2 from the cargo container 1 , and then sliding the slide bars 6.
  • one of two strands of pulling ropes 8 can be pulled, similarly to those in a manual vertical window blind, so as to make the slide bars 6 slide, thereby opening or closing the ceiling cover 2. Otherwise, a motor may be connected with the pulling ropes 8, so that the ceiling can be automatically opened and closed. Therefore, the slide bars 6 can be pushed in the longitudinal direction by the proper elastic force of the springs 6-3 while supporting the ceiling cover 2 and allowing the lengths of the slide bars 6 to vary.
  • the openable-ceiling type cargo container of the present invention comprises a retainer 7 for maintaining a space between the slide bars 6 at constant intervals, upon unfolding the retainer for covering the ceiling cover 2.
  • the retainer 7 includes two rigid bodies 7-1 and 7-2 and a hinge 7-3 coupling the two rigid bodies, whereby when folding the ceiling, the ceiling cover forming the ceiling is folded in the upper side while the two rigid bodies 7-1 and 7-2 are folded through the hinge.
  • an auxiliary supporting member 7-4 for supporting the ceiling cover can be connected to a center portion between retainers opposed each other at both rails. The ceiling cover is folded in the upper side as described above, so that, upon raining, it prevents rainwater from staying in the folded ceiling cover.
  • the slide bars 6 when the slide bars 6 have slid to the front of the container to thereby open the ceiling, the slide bars 6 can be received in a storage section 9 formed inside of the container body at the front side of the container body. Therefore, not only can large freight be easily loaded or unloaded, but the slide bars 6 can also be prevented from being damaged or broken while large freight is loaded or unloaded.
  • the slide bars 6, sliding to open and close the ceiling as described above may be connected with a telescopic driving system 10 as shown in FIGs. 5 and 6.
  • a telescopic bar 14 of the telescopic driving system 10 which is similar to an antenna of an automobile, is connected to the connectors 5, so that the telescopic driving system 10 can make the slide bars 6 automatically slide by telescoping the telescopic bar 14.
  • a wheel 12 is rotated by an electromotive motor 11, and a rack gear 13 is wound around the wheel 12. Therefore, by winding or unwinding the rack gear 13, the telescopic bar 14 can be extended or telescoped like an antenna, so as to make the slide bars 6 slide, thereby opening or closing the ceiling of the container.
  • the telescopic bar 14 may be driven by hydraulic pressure, so as to make the slide bars 6 slide.
  • the openable-ceiling type container which is mainly used in shipping exported goods, has a ceiling of a slide-type construction, which can be manually or automatically opened and closed, so as to eliminate inconvenience caused when the ceiling is manually opened or closed, and to reduce time for opening or closing the ceiling. Further, even in a state where the ceiling of the container is opened, slide bars can be stored in one side of the container, so that the slide bars are prevented from being broken or lost. Also, when the sidewalls of the container are distorted due to a load, the slide bars are varied with their lengths thus to receive the deflection, and upon opening the ceiling cover, the cover is folded in the upper side thus to prevent rainwater from staying in the folded cover.

Abstract

Selon l'invention, dans un conteneur de fret de type à plafond ouvrable dont le plafond peut être ouvert et fermé, une paire de rails est disposée sur des extrémités supérieures des deux surfaces latérales intérieures du conteneur de fret, plusieurs paires de roulettes étant disposées le long de ces rails. Une pluralité de barres de coulissement supportent un couvercle plafond du conteneur, chaque barre de coulissement comportant des extrémités opposées assemblées à des raccords de chaque roulette opposés les uns aux autres de sorte que les barres de coulissement et les roulettes puissent coulisser le long des rails pendant l'ouverture ou la fermeture du couvercle plafond. Ce conteneur permet la fermeture et l'ouverture automatique du plafond, ce qui permet de supprimer les désagréments inhérents à l'ouverture ou à la fermeture manuelle du plafond, et de réduire le temps nécessaire à l'ouverture ou à la fermeture dudit plafond. En outre, même dans un état où le plafond du conteneur est ouvert, les barres de coulissement peuvent être rangées dans un côté dans le conteneur, ce qui permet d'éviter de les casser ou de les perdre.
